September-October-November

Got a little busy the past few months to do a proper post so here I am to make up for it!

Currently Playing:

Chill game which I enjoy time to time. I play this once a while and I really enjoy it, although I just can't play more than 3 levels at one time.
Down to my last 10~ levels but it's a 6/10 for me so far!

Persona 5 Strikers

I loved Persona 5 when I played it on my PS4 so it's nice to see the main characters again! I personally prefer the turn based combat but I think it's still cool although I think the camera could be better. Music is still bop though.
7.5/10

Balatro

OKOKOK to be honest I don't really buy games unless they are at least 70% off but I just couldn't resist Balatro during the Spring Sales.
Already sunk quite a bit of time playing this on my Steam Deck and I don't think I'll stop anytime soon… Don't think you need my score for this since everybody knows how satisfying seeing the numbers go up is!!
9/10

I love roguelites so I am really enjoying this game, I like the premise of the game and that the small little things can be punishing.

I LOVED IT, PLAY IT! One of those extremely action-y roguelite games where my hands cramp sometimes while I play on my Deck.
8/10

Garden Story

I was quite excited because of the cute art but honestly it was aight, gameplay and combat wasn't that special, story was alright too. Other than the design and graphics, there wasn't anything that really wow-ed me unfortunately.
5.5/10

9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek

Not a fan of HOG tbh, but I still managed to finish it, you might like it if you like old school HOGs.
4/10

Mass Effect™ Legendary Edition

Finished the 2nd installment and I really liked it, I think what we can agree on is that ME excels with its story and how it unfolds based on the choices you make. Really ahead of its time in my opinion.
8/10

The Talos Principle

Finished the main game and might continue with the DLC in the future. Fun puzzle game but I needed some help for the levels.
7/10

Necrosmith

One of the games where I can chill out and play YouTube on the side. Nothing too special honestly but I think you always need one of these in your library when you have a little burnout from games.
6/10

Heaven's Vault

Very interesting game and from what I hear, with a lot of replay value since you can get to a 'happy' ending. I don't think I did but honestly it kind of overstayed its welcome for me. Driving the ship was clunky and most of the time I was hoping that I could 'pass the control to Six'.
5/10

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles

Dice-rolling game which I quite like the mechanics for, there was a unique concept which allows for various play styles. If you like deckbuilders with some luck, this might be your game, I personally quite enjoyed it.

Nice and simple puzzle game, nothing too special but still quite enjoyable.

One of my favourite publisher after playing through 'To The Moon'. Another high quality game from them and I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well. Story was outstanding as expected.
9.5/10

Seers Isle

This was alright, the story didn't really pull me in as much as I hoped. Wouldn't really play it again despite the replay value.

I love cats and finding them.
10/10 (biased ofc)

Revita

16.7 hours, 39 of 127 achievements

I liked this game and really wanted to reach the 'true ending' but it was a bit more tedious than I expected since there was a specific requirement to reach that ending. Still a good game nonetheless if you like twin shooters!
6.5/10

The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante

7.9 hours, 28 of 89 achievements

Pretty cool game where choices REALLY matter. I played a few times without any guide but eventually had to refer to some sort of guide to even reach a decent ending. Again, high replay value in terms of the routes and endings you can get but I don't really like replaying games.
7/10

RUINER

Another twin shooter I enjoyed, guns were pretty cool and gameplay was quite fun and fast paced. Mainly used my guns without ever really using my melee weapon but I'm sure there are various play styles possible.
6.5/10

Little Nightmares

Picked this game as my halloween game this year and really liked it. It had a really spooky vibe and character design is outstanding. Definitely left in my library for way too long and something you might enjoy if you liked 'Inside' and 'Limbo'
7.5/10

Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus?

Story was kinda mid to me. Not a big fan of this genre to be honest.

Game played like it's for kids. I didn't enjoy it.

Karma City Police

Game crashed 1 hour in and couldn't get my save back. It was pretty interesting up to that point and I was disappointed I had to restart.
3/10 (could be higher if game didn't delete my save)

SCARF

0.2 hours, 2 of 25 achievements

Horribly optimized for some reason for both my Steam Deck and my PC. For a game that's not crazy on graphics, it was a big turn off for me and so I decided to drop it.
0.5/10

Oaken

0.6 hours, 1 of 57 achievements

I typically enjoy roguelite strategy like Slay the Spire and even Balatro but Oaken really fails to capture me. Concept is interesting but never really got pulled into the game. After about an hour, I decided to drop the game because I just really wasn't enjoying it. Not a bad game nonetheless.
