Alright. February is basically in the books. I’m currently playing Frostpunk 2 and Wartales, neither of which will be finished before March begins. Frostpunk 2 is kinda kicking my ass, lol. Way more challenging than the first game IMO. Vendir: A Plague of Lies and A Game About Digging A Hole were this month’s standout titles.

February Completions

  1. Vendir: Plague of Lies (Steam) - Both a clunky and yet super cool CRPG.
  2. Pyramid Curse (Steam) - Neat little VHS style, sorta found footage horror game.
  3. The Auto Sort Is Broken (Steam) - Fun meme heavy organization game.
  4. Project Hailstorm (Steam) - Cool little free to play project that is horror adjacent.
  5. Right and Down (Steam) - Both fun and cool digital boardgame/card battler with a unique gameplay system.
  6. Luck be a Landlord (Steam) - Addictive AF digital slot machine with a story and RPG mechanics.
  7. Mouthwashing (Steam) - Super dark and twisted game. Not fun oer se,but quite an experience.
  8. Megalith (itch.io) (https://nikita-kryukov.itch.io/megalith) - Quick post apo walking sim with a dark conclusion.
  9. A Game About Digging A Hole (Steam) - diggy diggy
  10. Daiku no Medium (itch.io) (https://nikita-kryukov.itch.io/daiku-no-medium) - Clever VN, short, decent story.
  11. Duck Detective: The Secret Salami (Steam) - both child friendly and awesomely silly and ridiculous animal detective game.
  12. Trawl [3x] (itch.io) (https://houseofwire.itch.io/trawl) - Interesting little trawling game on the cusp of being horror without being horror.
  13. The Fabled Woods (Steam) - horror centric walking sim
  14. Robotherapy (Steam) - Super charming and quite funny mostly VN
  15. Night Drive (itch.io) (https://flankstaek.itch.io/night-drive) - 3 minute long game about going to work, basically.
  16. Causeway [2x] (itch.io) (https://yarnspinnergames.itch.io/causeway) - 5 minute ling game about life and work balance. Multiple playthroughs are recommended
  17. Wakamarina Valley, New Zealand (itch.io) (https://lushfoil.itch.io/newzealand) - digital travel-logue, basically
  18. Anthology Of The Killer (Steam) Super chaotic, highly insane, and very funny game set in a murder-verse
  19. PANELKI (Steam) - it’s okay, but not recommended due to the inclusion of a directly racist line of dialogue.

February Retirements

  1. Bunny Guys! - I’m terrible at this style of gameplay, but the dev asked me to check it out anyway, so I did. It’s quite good if you’re into precis platforming and leaderboards.
  2. Cozy Campzone - This was a lazy effort by the dev. Refunded.
  3. Isle of Jura - The main gameplay mechanic, which is several forms of fishing, was not fun.
  4. REKA - Cool, but still in early access and needs work.
  5. The Dead Await - Same as REKA
  6. Neon Blood - Not in early access, should be. Also, pretty much all of the characters are unlikable.
  7. Oikospiel Book 1 - Confusing AF gameplay. Very cool looking though.
  8. Right and Down and Dice - Actually both a quality and fun game, but I’ll never have the patience to complete every dungeon.

Plans for March

I’ll see how far I get with Frostpunk 2. I’ve already been deposed once by my people, lol. And Wartales of course. Beyond that, I’ll play Worshipper of Chthulhu, Eden Crafters, Liar’s Bar, The Hungry Fly, and Indika most likely. Along with a chunk of smaller titles. Cheers!

Congratulations on your assassinations!!! ᓚᘏᗢ
I can’t believe a game about digging a hole is getting so popular. I watched a short edited youtube video with the whole game, though it did look fun somehow.
I hope you have an excellent March!
