Quick thoughts:
I Am Future: Cozy Apocalypse Survival
8/10
It’s a very light survival game, mostly about collecting resources, to build stuff, which you are using to collect new resources, which are helping you to reach new areas, with more resources… technically you can die, but it genuinly hard to die if you are not meaning it, and there is almost no penalty to death, so, as a name suggested - it is very cosy and lighthearted.
Luna's Fishing Garden
5/10
Another cosy game - about fishing, gardening, collecting resources to help fix an archipelago of islands after a storm. This one after a while got quite boring and tedious.
Escape From Mystwood Mansion
6/10
Escape room game. Classic of the genre - hidden codes, clues on the ceiling, counting, how many red books are in the room… If you like this type of games - this one is perfectly suitable.
Access Denied: Escape
6/10
Another escape room, this one is a bit different - it’s focused on series of cubes, you need to open each of them, mostly by inserting right code number. Very short, and a bit junky, but quite fun, I had a good time.
William and Sly
8/10
Long time ago, in weird and happy time of free browser games, and golden times of Kongragate side, there were two games in William and Sly series. In both you were a fox, and both were this mix of metroidvania and collecthaton. This one is the third game, now in 3D. And it’s just running through the map, searching for collectables. No death, no real challenges, just this cute fox running and searching for herbs and mushrooms, which are used for spells, to unlock more spells ingredients. It’s simple, it’s junky, it’s INCREDIBLY relaxing. My only porblem is - you cannot control a camera, just fox movement - which was weird, and made finding stuff a bit more tedious, but still, it was fun, stress-free acventure, especially if you remember first two games.
Stars In The Trash
6/10
Short platformer about a cat, focused on hand drawn animation. As a platformer - it’s very little there, but as a cartoon - it looks great. It perfectly catch this 90’s cartoons look, and it’s very climactic. I would give it a higher score, but in this type of game story is really important, but because of the lenght of the game, pacing was a bit off. Every piece of the story was there, but it failed a bit in “emotional” part of storytelling, I cannot really say, why.
