The more I hear about Planet Crafter the more I’m sure it’s a game I would enjoy. Do you mind telling me why you dropped Sand Land? I’ve been thinking about picking it up but I don’t see many people on my friends list playing it.
With Sand Land, the story itself was excellent. The artwork as it pertains to the characters: excellent. The voice acting: excellent. However, the gameplay was just so meh and boring outside of one cool gameplay mechanic (being able to summon your tank or other such vehicles during combat), and the world itself was so lackluster both visually and from a design perspective, that it just made me not want to keep coming back to it. Basically, I just got bored of it. What I’d say is it would make an exceptional anime season but makes a very boring game. I think the devs really phoned in a lot of things. Take what I say with a grain of salt though. You might not feel the same way about the gameplay and design as I do.
As far as The Planet Crafter goes, I do feel like it’s a game people with a wide variety of interests might enjoy.
