MazM: Jekyll & Hyde
I tried to like this game. I really did. Maybe it didn't work for me because it was made for mobile instead of Steam so I tried to play it via Remote Play on my tablet or mobile which both didn't work because of the resolution. Overall the story was alright and I'm glad that I finally know this one now after so many other stories refering to Jekyll & Hyde and I never knew what the comparison was about. The art also was very beautiful. But the conversations... They were simply pointless, very bad written, most of the time I didn't get what they were talking about, they repeated themselves, spoke nonsens, contradicted themselves or decided that they want to talk about something but then don't. Not only once I screamed „What?!“ to my screen, waving my arms in the air x'D Was wondering if I should still go for the achievements because they're simple and shouldn't take too long. Sadly after completing the game one can't choose the chapter to repolay again as it was possible during the gameplay, and I really really really don't want to play from all over again. Once was enough, sadly.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
I enjoyed the sequel so much more than the first game! Not that the first one was bad or anything, but I really, really loved TDD. The puzzles were much cooler imo, somehow the game felt more... interactive? And the cases were also much, much more interesting. Only the end felt a bit off, not that it wasn't thrilling (it was!! so much!!) but after I finished it I sat there asking myself “That's it?“ Would've loved if they at least included another case about Moriarty and how he was killed and maybe a bit more about Alice too. But nevertheless, it was much enjoyed and the hype about the new game definitely was increased as well!
Little Nightmares II
Holy!! This was... scary!!! While the first game was pretty soft horror-wise this one gave me lot of good shrieks I did not expect :d Story was as confusing as ever and can only be explained with a loooot of theories! The game was also harder, although I am not sure if this was because of Stadia(?) but I had to replay so so so so many levels over and over again without doing anything different so maybe I was only bad or Stadia has some delay problems~ Overall: Awesome game! And so happy that Stadia gave this last month away for free (bless the trial month)!

The case of Sherlock you are metioning missing is the whole game itself - The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. This is the prequel of Devil’s Daughter and is telling, how Sherlock ended with Alice. I really liked it, although it is much more classic adventure stuff then TDD.
Oh!! I didn’t know there was another game! Thank you so much, will see if I can get my hands on it!! :3
There is a whole serie of games. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_Holmes_(video_game_series)
I played couple, although I must say anything older than Jack the Ripper is not very good.
I had no idea. Thought Crimes and Punishment was the first one from the developer at least. Thanks again for clarification! So Jack the Ripper is still worth it? :)
Barely. I liked it but it is getting quite old. And all of them are classic adventure games like Crimes and Punishments, Devil changed gameplay a lot. Although I remember that I really like Testament’s plot. Jack the Ripper - so so. Awakened was just stupid.
Also, there is a new one coming called Chapter One. I’m waiting for it.
Then I will only look into the games after Jack the Ripper and maybe search for some Lets Plays for the others :’) Or maybe they’ll get a remake someday considering how old they are already.
Really looking forward to Chapter One tho! It looks amazingly good!
