Awesome selection. Cocoon, Sennaar and Golden Idol have been on my wishlist for the longest time given the amount of praise they got from Youtubers. But Kona is completely new to me - would you say it’s more adventure or more survival? While I like survival games, I tend to avoid them because they stress me too much ahhaaha
Kona is a lot more adventure/investigation. The survival part is just collecting stuff to keep you warm, sane and in good health. The last 15 minutes of the game are more intense but I don’t want to spoil the ending for you, even if it’s bad. I plan to play Kona II very soon so expect a quick review of it in my next post.

A quick update on Kona II. I played it for a few hours tonight and I don’t like it.
It’s very different from the first game, the performance is very bad and it’s just not enticing. Since I played it on Game Pass and it’s technically not in my backlog, I won’t force myself to finish it.
Thank you for the update, but it’s sad to see a series taking this turn for the worst. I know a lot of people like Dino Crisis II for it’s arcade-y feel, but for me it was so removed from the original that I never was able to enjoy it, and your report reminds me of that.
At least it’s on Game Pass, so it’s a quick and easy no-regret pass hehe
