January 2025 Review
Slow to start, but I’ve been meaning to make small meaningful dents rather than worry about completing a large goal and that has been way more enjoyable. We have a pretty big milestone coming up at work, so I’ve set my expectations accordingly.
February has a lot of releases I’m looking forward to which may end up being picked up. Realistically though, Abiotic Factor is going to be my immediate priority. To compensate, I’ve chosen a few games with relatively short runtimes to see if I can do them as a nice break in between work (which is, honestly, how January’s got done as well).

Woah, you’re playing world of warcraft? I’m kinda tempted to get into it because of an incredible fic I read “A Nerubian’s Journey” on Royal Road, but I don’t think I’ll take that dive unless the Nerubian race becomes playable. Highly suggest reading it if you haven’t! It was surprisingly lore-friendly to those who didn’t know anything about the WOW storyline, and accurate if the wiki references were correct.
Thank you!!
I played WoW so much but, after Legion, I didn’t touch it for years - so playing catch up in a casual manner, which has been nice honestly. Glad they’re heading back on track with telling a good story, and I’m right there with you regarding the Nerubians! They’re a very interesting society and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed untangling the webs, as it were, about their community and culture.
