November report

I am a bit late with this post, but better late than never I guess and I have made a decent bit of progress too. I really need to redesign my reviews tho, because I write much longer reviews on Steam now which they never godamn fit in my boxes anymore.

Island Cities
Playtime: 4 hours
Achievements: 22 of 22 (100%)
Review: It is basically the same game as Island Farmer from the same developers, just with a different look. It is kinda a 3D puzzle with 22 levels. You get shown an island made out of blocks and then you get a scrambled island and you need to put the island back together how it was shown at the beginning by swapping blocks. It requires 0 skill and it is more like something to do with your hands while watching something. Works fine on Linux with Proton.
Polimines
Playtime: 1.7 hours
Achievements: 4 of 4 (100%)
Review: It is a puzzle game with an interesting concept which mixes up minesweeper and nonograms. I like the idea, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired: there is no way to mark multiple fields at the same time or which numbers you have already solved, it is sometimes really hard to tell which outside numbers belong to which fields. There is 30 levels in total. The Linux version starts up in a weird resolution with back bars, but it is 100% playable.
Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow
Playtime: 3 hours
Achievements: 24 of 24 (100%)
Review: Just as the first Family Mysteries HOG, this one also disappointing and suffers with some of the same issues. It is extremely linear, with only 1-2 scenes available to you at a time, the minigames are pretty much all really easy. It is however overall better. It also has the same Linux version issue of the game as the first one too. If you into the setting menu and try to save something the game just straight up crashes and your settings don't get saved.
Dolmenjord - Viking Islands
Playtime: 4.4 hours
Achievements: 10 of 10 (100%)
Review: A nice and interesting placement puzzle game with 60 levels to solve. They start up pretty easy, however they get more challenging with time and level 60 was absolutely brutal even with easy mode. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (9.0-3).
My hidden things
Playtime: 1.4 hours
Achievements: 7 of 7 (100%)
Review: An interesting idea for a hidden object game where you have to combine objects to make the ones that fit the shape that the game wants from you. The problem is that the game wants pixel perfect positioning for 2 items to actually combine which is just extremely frustrating. And if you get stuck (mainly because of the pixel perfect positioning issue) then good luck as the game doesn't offer you any kind of help. Works fine on Linux with Proton.
Doodle Harmony
Playtime: 15 minutes
Achievements: 100 of 100 (100%)
Review: A puzzle game where you have to match a 100 black blobs to their colorful outlines. It is pretty simple, but it works fine and it is enjoyable. It only takes 15 minutes to beat however, so I would definitely wait for a sale to pick it up to get a better deal for you money. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (9.0-3).
Doodle Harmony Ghosts
Playtime: 15 minutes
Achievements: 100 of 100 (100%)
Review: It is basically the same as the original Doodle Harmony just instead of black blobs you are matching 100 black ghosts to their colorful outlines. It is pretty simple, but it works fine and it is enjoyable. It only takes 15 minutes to beat however, so I would definitely wait for a sale to pick it up to get a better deal for you money. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (9.0-3).
