Report: January 2019
My first time participating in community event here (Community picks) and on Steamgifts! \O.O/
From six chosen games I have played five and three of them I completed. Overall I am happy about it… but it could have been better. Well that’s my punishment for choosing games with long playtime. -_-
Also my time was largely consumed by Hollow Knight as I am really, really, really enjoying it very much! <3
I am so out of words, that I can just say “Amazing game!”.
Joined ABC Screenshot challenge, here is my sheet. ;)

Enough of small talks and now to the actual assassinations! Good luck in new month and have a good time everyone!
Okay, I won't be repeating myself again, as everyone now know that I love this game. <3
I could have beaten it for the monthly challenge, but as I said in the post I am aiming on achievement, so it's still counted as unfinished. Worst part is, that once I am done I am starting another playthrough! \O.O/
I will start with saying that I am big fan of the first Dishonored! So I was very happy when I got my hands upon this game. I think it's a good successor! All the good things remained same way, supernatural powers and lore. Fight got some new improvements - but as I played on non-lethal can't vouch for that much. ;)
I really enjoyed the game, was nice to visit other city and meet some new and even old faces. I found the design of missions clever and in some cases innovative (Aramis Stilton's house was pretty much fun!). I played as Emily and can't wait for the story difference when playing as a Corvo.
The ending could have been... I don't know, more surprising? It was like I have played it already... oh wait, I did! Also one thing was really bothering me and that was saving. I couldn't rewrite saves, because as I did and loaded one it teleported me back in time - it loaded the save that was overwritten. So I had to back-up my saves and delete them in game one by one, so I could save properly. And that's half of a star for you, otherwise it would have gained 4.
Rather silly matching game, but I have enjoyed the music and overall design. To the end it started to be really hard, but luckily I done all field on my first try. Also, after buying everything for the farm I would have lost motivation for completing it, as there was nothing new to open, but as it was part of SG challenge I have done it!
If I would grade this game by it's visual it wouldn't be bad. Also the music was pleasant and some of the puzzles were really good and even hard. But the story, the characters... oh my, that was completely wrong! Just hilarious, I wondered if I should cry or laugh. I ended up laughing. ;)
I think I will enjoy this game. I did not have enough time for it last month, but that will change. Now I want to play Spells of Gold again. o.o
Hollow Knight did the same for me and almost exclusively absorbed all my gaming hours when I played it. There’s so much to do in the game, especially at this stage when almost all additional content has been released. What’s your plan for the new playthrough, are you going for the speedruns?
I’m not sure if manual sync can fix it but it’s worth doing first if you haven’t tried it yet (top-right next to your avatar -> Settings -> Sync). I’ve had one game that didn’t sync achievements at all, but after I played the game again a few months later it got fixed.
Yes, I think that playing with the all content opened makes the experience more consistent, because I can’t imagine how can anyone live without Dreamshield. ;D
Well, for now I think that opening different endings will be enough, but maybe as I will play it for third or fourth time I will get quick enough to open at least the slowest of the speedruns. ;) I just don’t believe that I can complete it in five hours! Also in no way I can survive 42 bosses in a row! And about Path of Pain I will not even start. ;P
Oh, thank you for the tip. I have synced few times already but nothing changed. I will hope that after I play those games again it will show up. ;)
Yeah, 10 hours would sound doable. I’ve seen guides that would help with the 5h attempt, but I know myself I’d most likely get stuck on a boss like Watcher Knights, especially with less health on my belt. The other examples you mentioned taught me that I’m OK with not being able to finish and see all the content this game has to offer, but at least all the hardest challenges are optional. :)
I am afraid that I would be so stressed I would die the moment I stepped in the Forgotten Crossroads. XD
Yes, you are right, but still it bugs me that I won’t see the new ending Godseeker got. o.o Oh well… nono my heart is too weak for going through Pantheon of Hallownest. XD
