Hi everyone ! Long time no see.
It’s my last month at school for this year, before going to an internship, hence lots of exams and little to no time to play :( !
It has been an intensive month, and I’m happy to finally have time for me, even if I will miss the sensation I got during this month : those intensive days and nights with my roommates, the coffee, and lots of multiplayer games to rest ours spirits from time to time.
Most of it was the ARAM mode on League of Legends, feel free to add me if you want casual match from time to time : oOo KiiTa oOo. (My level is ~ Bronze ^^)
On Steam, we also payed this a lot :
It’s a very fun game, even if I’m not in RTS. The AI is a bit weird, going from “baby” to “nuclear monster” in one step, but overall it’s ok. I don’t know if I’m going to do the campaign tho. Also, the game can lag pretty quickly with too advanced AI, since they spawn units like hell. Still, very cool game to play with friends.
I hope these 4 months of internship will allow me to play more, I still have a backlog to assassinate !
I realize I did not even took the time to speak about my last plays, so here a brief recap
Jotun had a nice beginning, but meh, I did not love it as much as I would have wanted. The Valhalla mode should be accessible from the beginning.
SuperHot was a gift, so i’m going to be nice (^^ ): it was cool, a bit short but I don’t think it deserve its purpose considering the story. One major trouble : the annoying as f*ck “SUPERHOTSUPERHOTSUPERHOT” spawning on your screen with each replay…
Genital Jousting was amazing to discover on the TV with everyone around. Roommies and friends were grabbing controllers to play too haha. I hope devs will add more levels later !
Hum, I’m not really sure I understand, so I’m going to try to explain what kind of internship I’m talking about ^^ I’m doing a school in 3 years, and each year we have to go in a company to test ours skills and also learn new ones. In 1rst year I had 2 months, this year I have to do 4 months and next year I will have to go 6 months. At the end of each internship, we have to come back and do a oral presentation about what we did there, and also provide a document. For the first intership, it’s 15 pages, for the third it’s usually a mini thesis. All of this is mandatory if you want to have the official national certification.
I will have more time when I will be in internship because I will have normal workshift, and weekends also. This last month, we had to works for the exams of the semesters.
Jotun : you control a character in 4 directions, and have two kinds of attacks (slow but DAMAGES, fast but it’s a poke). You have to defeat huge creatures/gods compare to you. But between every gods, you have some kind of levels, which are mostly mazes with few stuff in it. You can find golden apple to raise your life bar, statues which give you powers (for 2 uses) and also bits of the story if you want to learn more about the lore. That’s it. I found them very empty. Valhalla mode is just the bosses, without the levels to do. It shorten the game a lot, but I don’t see the point of filling it with boring stuff. The bosses fight were still fun, because it’s not just hit, you have to fond the special way, but yeah that’s it.
Sorry if it’s a bit confusing, I’m not really good at explain stuff ^^
Yeah, we weren’t talking about the same thing and that sounds way more involved. Good luck. :)
No no, thank you for explaining it. Sounds like I’ll have to check it out. Had the game sitting in my library since it was included in Humble Monthly but as usual something else always diverts my attention.
Thank you ^^
Did you do Titan Souls ? I just thought about it, I should have make the comparaison sooner. It’s the same kind, except you have to do levels and find stuff in it.
Nope, but I’m familiar with it. Makes sense now. Thanks. :)
Internship? I remember I had those during the summer, although we’re clearly talking about different things here as I had to keep a log for about a month or so total.
What IS Jotun? I can’t seem t get the idea from screenshots and what other people have said.
