Also, very impressed by you beating The Deadly Tower of Monsters… I’m currently playing it and frustrated to no end. I don’t know if it’s me, my pc or the controls, but especially the fights feel like they are decided on RNG: I click and click and click and nothing happens; or I’m dealing blows left and right but to zero damage. Then the platforming is like trying to navigate a tar pit: I keep getting stuck on walls and having my character jump or not jump as it pleases (never mind it actually going to a direction I’m trying). Ve-ry disappointed, since I’ve loved the idea from before the release and the execution of the story this far. One of the games I’ll probably end up watching someone else (a Youtube letsplayer, to be frank) play.
Controls felt okay to me, I don’t know what could be the problem, remember to use skills and to dodge with shift, also upgrade a ranged weapon or two and use them more. If you have a gamepad try playing with it too
I loved the game, the fourth chapter started to feel repetitive but it was short and the end was magnific imho
