If On A Winter's Night, Four Travelers
Imposter Factory: The partially faded memories of the earlier experiences made this even more enjoyable ππ
Megaquarium: I picked up the DLCs and enjoyed my time with them π
Yuletide Legends: Same formula, different pictures, as to be expected from Artifex Mundi
Darkestville Castle: Decent point and click, better since I got it on sale π
Edgar: I laughed maybe twice, the movement is awkward and several achievements are a waste of time π
Detective Grimoire: Uses Adobe Air which means it should probably not be sold anymore π
Irony Curtain: It was OK, slower than it needed to be with missed opportunities to make it more enjoyable
Occult Crime Police: Eccentric and probably intended from an audience other than myself, but free
TARTARUS: Disappointment on so many levels. It is almost like they consulted with me and did everything I suggested they not do π
Fate of Dynasty: Free, decent experience π
How We Got Here: Quirky but free π
If On A Winter's Night, Four Travelers: Somehow this is free. If you like dark, atmospheric games this is a must-play. Then, pay what you want on itch or buy the DLC on Steam ππ
Congratulations on all of your assassinations! Which game was your favorite this month? I saw you played a hidden object game, I bought the bundle but Iβm hesitant to add any to my library because my last experience didnβt go super well. Have you played a lot of others?
Thanks! I really enjoyed Impostor Factory for the long awaited continuation of that saga. Megaquarium supplied my management-simulation fix, and If On A Winterβs Night, Four Travelers was a great find. I am not sure I can pick from there though :)
Almost all of the HOGs I have played are from Artifex Mundi, and they are all generally worth a few dollars. Some of the other ones I have played are junk so quality really varies. I am not sure which bundle you are referring to, but if you are interesting in trying out the genre I would recommend Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood from Artifex Mundi or a game from their Secret Order series. Jetdogs has release a few decent ones too, such as Frankenstein: Master of Death and Cursed
