A Story About My Uncle
I like this game a lot, the graphics are pretty nice and also the places. The story is not that great but in overall it was fun.
As you can see I didnt get any achievements they were too difficult for me :(

This game was nice and the art style is really great and relaxing. It wasnt hard and I finish it in a day
Broken Age
I like the story of the game and how you play with both charachters. The art style is beautiful and some parts are funny.
Question
The howler doesnt has achievements and I didnt got any for A story about my uncle. I took screenshots but I am not sure where do I have to post them because I have -1 on the live ranking.

If I remember it correctly then for games without achievements you just need to make a screenshot of the game ending. For example the end credits, if they are available. Revilheart or whoever will make the next update will check your steam account for screenshots of the game. Maybe you have set the game as beaten and much later uploaded the screenshot. Best way to solve that is to ask Revilheart directly I guess.

I had the screenshots before I put the game as beaten si I dont know what I miss. I will ask Revilheart :P
The live ranking should check if you have any public screenshots for the game in the specific period and then it’s fine. But I think the live ranking doesn’t work atm.
If it doesnt work I guess that will make sense because it also didnt took Broken Age as beaten and that one has achievements

Check Monthly Theme in the menu.. there’s a monthly theme with games that fit that theme. Beating and completing those games give you points and at the end of the month there’s a ranking which users get the most points during that month and they get a honorably mention ;-) There’s supposed to be a live ranking too that updates the points during the months but it isn’t working.

I loved A Story About My Uncle– I actually liked the story though. I played it a long time ago, well before it was bundled and in fact before I came to Steamgifts. For a while, it was the “hardest game on Steam I’d ever beaten,” though that distinction was taken by Ori Definitive Edition recently. I’m not great at platformers (2d or 3d), so I had to work for both of these games. I also didn’t get any achievements…then again, I didn’t try any.
I tired to obtain Maddie’s Challenge but no luck
I like the story at the begining but after I find it all the same but even with that I think it was a really good game :)
I felt like I could maybe accomplish Maddie’s Challenge, but I decided not to as it would leave me with 1/15 achievements. I’d rather 0/15.
I loved the Howler. Beat it last year, loved the graphics and easy game play.

Congrats on your finishes. I tried Uncle as well as the howler and got stuck on both pretty soon, haven’t had the will to continue. Does Uncle really gets better storywise later in the game?
I’m not sure about the screenshots but I think that having a screenshot of the last scene or credits usually was enough. Linking them in the post is how most people do it, I think.
I liked the story in the game. I liked the gameplay too– so I’m wouldn’t say that the story carried the game or anything, but it was a nice little story that tied together the platforming nicely.
