Wooo a fun week! Not as much time to play steam games... but I got some time in this week. So it's going to be a short list of games played this week. Been playing a lot of Pokemon GO as Gen 2 came out, have yet to get a Larvitar... :( Spent all day Monday playing it, I have 44 of the new pokemon caught. Waiting on a few more good pokemon to do a mass evolution.
With all this, do you play other games outside of steam? What do you all play?

SteamWorld Heist
I AM STILL LOVING THIS GAME! But I beat the game with all Gold Stars... :D I definitely need to go through and beat it on a harder difficult but I think it is time to move on for the time being. I like the humor in the game, and the references in the game. The boss battle at the end was rather intense and very satisfying. I have a bunch of achievements to attain in the future on this, I am pretty sure this is one of the games I will never get a perfect in but it is a really satisfying game for me.

Starward Rogue
Played a single run in this... I took a terrible risk that didn't pay off. I was curb stomping took a risk that cost me 9/10 health to bring my damage way up... well 2 rooms later. BAM, Shield down... tons of bullets coming my way... and then death. Anyways, this is my random pickup game for a quick match game when I don't want to invest a ton into the game. It is really good for that.
With all this, do you play other games outside of steam? What do you all play?
Do I? I probably play more or equal number of games elsewhere than I do on Steam, even if some of them are on alternative services like GOG. I’m sure finding screenshots to post short of those acquired through emulation will be a problem, though. Especially with portables.
Oh yeah trying to get stuff on and off of portables without messing up warranties and such is an issue. I am always impressed by your posts btw, I know I don’t read them all the time but they are really well done. :D
I’ve resigned myself to finding screenshots. Can’t pick the ones I always want, but it does the job.

Hey, I’m so happy to see you loved the game, it’s the best “reward” when I give away a game I love. It’s funny that I just finished the game a few minutes ago (well I had once on 3DS too, but I mean on Steam), came to BLAEO to update my list and saw your post :D I also realize I took a bunch of screenshots but forgot to take one of the final statistic screen ;___;
I agree that the final boss (and some other pretty complex battles) are so satisfying once you complete them. I, for sure, have already beaten it twice and still find enjoyment coming back to it for “just one more battle”. I’m planning to go hunt for some of the elusive rare hats, and at some point redo a run in NG+ highest difficulty.

I use to play on consoles too but lately, both my 3DS and my Xbox 360 have been taking dust, and I have games on Uplay/Origins/GoG that are at the very end of the backlog list. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s that I find Steam more convenient when I pick a new thing to play, especially with BLAEO to track my progress.
Yeah, at somepoint I will turn my attention back to Steamworld Heist… but I have so many other games to enjoy and complete first. I am hoping one day I can go back and play everything that I want to. :P The struggle is real.

But speaking seriously, I don’t have consoles ‘cause they’re too expensive. I don’t play on mobile ‘cause I just don’t like to do that. I don’t play IRL ‘cause I’m too lazy for that =D
I used to spend most of my gaming time on consoles than on Steam, but nowadays I’ve shifted as there’s not so many games that I’d play on my PS3 anymore. Same goes with other PC clients, there are a few games on Uplay and Origin that I sometimes play but I don’t visit them on a regular basis.
I never grew an interest in mobile games, partly because I have an old smartphone that probably isn’t too good running games. I never really remember to browse the Play Store to see if there would be any interesting games to try out. I guess it’s just not my thing. :)
I kinda went back and forth between Consoles and PC for awhile. Right now I am in a PC phase… who know how long that will last. But I play on my phone as well, I really enjoy being able to play something while I am in a waiting room or something like that.
