Welp, as you can see I made less progress than the past years. But in my defense I added quite a lot of games from the Jingle Jam/last couple humble choices which spiked up my games. Just means more great games to play next (this?) year! I ended up beating 86 games in 2020, quite a few short ones/demos included in that but some longer ones too. Finally beat Terraria woohooo!! Third time’s the charm!
On the Switch I beat Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 (both of which I borrowed from my library which is awesome). Also played a bunch of Animal Crossing Antonio best boi and got a first place finish during each of the Tetris 99 events.
Some co-op games I played with my brothers which I had blast with are A Way Out, Runbow, Horizon Chase Turbo, Terraria and Borderlands 2/part of 3 (during free weekend).
Gris and Dicey Dungeons were my all-time favourites of the year.
Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition was my biggest pleasant surprise.
Biggest disappointment was We Were Here Together, which wasn’t awful by any means but definitely more frustrating and just less fun than the other two.
A hidden gem I recommend checking out is Hotel Sowls.
I won 13 games on Steamgifts and beat 10 of ‘em, partially played Turok good grief idk how child me beat this without getting hopelessly lost, albeit fun! and haven’t touched F1 2019 or The Walking Dead: The Final Season yet (I really need to finish Season 3…). My favourite wins were probably Children of Morta and Gremlins, Inc., but honestly had fun with every single one of the games.
Overall the year’s definitely been a rough one healthwise, but should be getting more answers into 2021 and it could’ve been so much worse. Ended up being hospitalised and having the chaos of moving house in the span of a few weeks in November, but all settled now and loving my gaming set up. Managed to play quite a few games all things considered! Grateful to have gotten through 2020, hopefully things slowly start to improve for everyone.

That’s a good point, odd that it could be so high. I did add some games which I’d played via family share from previous years and marked as beaten (but didn’t add to the 2020 list) and I went back through the past 3 years (gotta love the /played feature), which had some missed games which I added to lists. I guess the other years should’ve been higher is the biggest discrepancy. Ah well, I tried. :D
Well I got to say you did better then me. I’ve been here for 2 years and added so much in that time. When I started I had like 400ish (didnt have a progress bar so just using the one from 2019) I then went to like 700 to then reach 1k. Those numbers count free games but going off from my steam number I’m at 800. I just kept adding like 300 each year. Which you added in all 3 years
I went back and the lowest number I has was 426 but that wasn’t from the start so I’m guessing it was probably just under
Yeah it’s crazy how easily games add up and yet more and more keep being released. Has been hard to keep my WL under 400 games lately because there’s a bunch that look interesting. And yet….looks at games I own. I’ve been trying not to buy many games and still accrued 118 games (sale/bundles) in 2020 yeesh. Ah well, at least we won’t be running out of games to play anytime soon eh?
