I’ve gone completely nuts with completions and clearing a huge backlog on top of gifted games… honestly these aren’t impressive at all but I’m trying my best to climb to 80% completion so everything counts right now. I’m sitting at 16,104 achievements with a 63% completion rate and I’m hoping to knock out another 50 completions next month to hit 100 for the year.

I’m currently working on The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and L.A Noire, both have been installed far too long now and need addressing sooner rather than later.

As to games I’ve enjoyed this month, Her Story was incredible. I’d heard the rave reviews on the game but I didn’t really think much of them as Undertale was hyped to all levels it could reach and that kinda sucked. The game revolves around you working out a murder investigation and searching around a video database for the evidence and truth to what happened. So as to not spoil any further, it’s definitely a mind blower.

I had MechaNika gifted to me for my birthday by Lenor though I never actually got around to playing it until this morning. The jokes and puns had me laughing particularly the story about her Grandpa. For 2 hours, it was an enjoyable playthrough to seek your desire for World Destruction. It’s just a real shame it ends so quickly… I’d of liked to play the Robot part. Haha.

Having seen the Humble Bundle, I’m debating getting the CiV BTA bundle for Beyond Earth. (The achievements are quick.) so will likely have keys for DLC and the other games in my next post. Anywho, onwards to next month as this is getting rather long.

So my working on didn’t get worked on… got carried away with smashing out some easy games. I’m already 500 achievements up on last years total amount of achievements in just this month. I’m playing all of my games as I can between work commitments so I will not be setting any targets and just playing what I’d like.

Slash It 2 - I enjoyed aiming to reach the Top 18 on the Leaderboards of this game but quickly noticed people were using scripts for auto inputting letters and numbers which spoiled the overall enjoyment of the game. The music is top notch in this game as well as the backgrounds. Particularly due to the fact you now have a visual cue to let you know how close you are to failing from errors. Definitely recommend this game!

Dinosaur Forest - This game isn’t enjoyable at all. From the headshots not registering to dinosaurs being able to run through walls. Quite literally. The Developer annoyingly has been adding 200+ achievements to all of his games and it would appear Dinosaur Hunt will be getting 2000 extra. (Fun…)

Fiends of Imprisonment/Break Into Zatwor - I can’t really comment much on these. The “L” skip allows you to skip to the last level and it’s really not that hard to finish off. I’m sure they are good games but I didn’t really play them enough to notice.

Club Naughty - You’re a Strip Club Owner buying girls, drugs and music to entice customers to your Club. The management side is shallow and becomes rather boring after a while. You’ll be consistently bombarded by bar maid requests and customer requests that will either a) increase your reputation or b) reward you money. There are four minigames each being trivial in difficulty due to the speed and shape of the things you must click in them. Tip: Don’t focus on the top ones. It will mess you up. Overall, an alright game but the tedium will get to you.

Mortifero Motus - Such a shame this is incredibly short. I really enjoyed it for what it was. Your aim is to dodge the traffic at obscene speeds and dodging police cars. It’s over in 10 minutes. It could’ve been made into a longer game at the very least.

God of Word - I saw this on the Steam Store and had to buy it immediately. Greek Mythology is something I’ve always had an interest in and it didn’t disappoint. The artwork in this is unique and the bosses give a great sense of satisfaction from the rather “cookie cutter” typing games. You have to plan out your means of attack and can’t just mash out words to beat them. Highly recommended.

Hello, it’s been a long time since I posted and well I thought it was about high time I did. I’ve been trying to clean up my Steam Profile whilst limiting my spending ability due to the backlog exceeding 250 unplayed with achievements. As you can see I managed to clear quite a few games and I’m now working on gutting my backlog considerably this month also time permitting. I’m sat at 207 currently. Mafia III looks like my next completion as the story is awesome but the gameplay lets it down a little with the “chores” as I’d like to call them.

Retail Sucks!

My progress has seriously stalled this past week. I work in Retail so finding the time to play is becoming difficult as I’m Christmas Shopping on my days off and wrapping presents. I’ve been working on pushing further into The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Ragnarok Clicker in the time I do find to play anything. My progress is going to slow down for the time being whilst I clear my harder games in an attempt to raise my ratio on TrueSteamAchievements. :)

I managed to finish last month with 557 Achievements completed and knocked my Steam Completion to 58%. I want to aim to raise this to 60% before New Years Eve time permitting. I’ll be planning to work on;

Hello, I’m new around here, I was recommended the site by a good friend, Lenor.

This is more of an introductory post as I work through the process of cleaning up my Steam account of the half finished games I have polluting it. November has been an awesome month in comparison to the past few months. I’ve obtained 550 achievements, completed 22 games and I’m now smashing through the backlog I accumulated through impulse buying. (Bad Steam! Bad!). Once I work out how the formatting here works, these will be a lot neater and much more detailed.
