I’ve gone completely nuts with completions and clearing a huge backlog on top of gifted games… honestly these aren’t impressive at all but I’m trying my best to climb to 80% completion so everything counts right now. I’m sitting at 16,104 achievements with a 63% completion rate and I’m hoping to knock out another 50 completions next month to hit 100 for the year.
I’m currently working on The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and L.A Noire, both have been installed far too long now and need addressing sooner rather than later.
As to games I’ve enjoyed this month, Her Story was incredible. I’d heard the rave reviews on the game but I didn’t really think much of them as Undertale was hyped to all levels it could reach and that kinda sucked. The game revolves around you working out a murder investigation and searching around a video database for the evidence and truth to what happened. So as to not spoil any further, it’s definitely a mind blower.
I had MechaNika gifted to me for my birthday by Lenor though I never actually got around to playing it until this morning. The jokes and puns had me laughing particularly the story about her Grandpa. For 2 hours, it was an enjoyable playthrough to seek your desire for World Destruction. It’s just a real shame it ends so quickly… I’d of liked to play the Robot part. Haha.
Having seen the Humble Bundle, I’m debating getting the CiV BTA bundle for Beyond Earth. (The achievements are quick.) so will likely have keys for DLC and the other games in my next post. Anywho, onwards to next month as this is getting rather long.

I suggest Dishonored 2 after L.A. Noire. It actually is a much easier 100% than Noire in my opinion. Mafia III is pretty straightforward too, just a little bit grindy but not as time consuming as some other games with grindy achievements. An all-kill speedrun (preferably for your 2nd playthrough) shouldn’t take much more than 10 hours.
Just an ordinary day in Persevere’s life:
I had honestly forgotten I had that… I was talking to my brother about it the other day. Yeah, that’s doable.
I’d do Mafia 3 but it’s so monotonous with the way it’s been laid out. Mafia II clearly surpasses it on all levels due to the story and general layout. When Mafia 3 was announced, I expected a more GTA-type of game in regards to how they would present it. The story’s good, it’s just the gameplay severely lets it down considerably. I’ll see what’s possible this evening as I’m off work again tomorrow and I’m only doing limited hours due to grievance.
You replied to your own post by the way so I didn’t get a notification :P I decided to check your post again, that’s how I saw your reply.
Mafia 3 is really an inferior game there is no doubt about that. I know you also want to play some of your “longer” games, I suggested that one because it doesn’t take much effort, it just takes patience. Gameplay is truly dull but the 2nd playthrough won’t take as long as the first one. You WILL get bored to death though but 100%ing it is certainly not hard at all. If me, a stealther with shaky hands, manage to get 5 headshots in 5 seconds, which I believe was the hardest achievement in the game, ANYONE else can as well ;) Unfortunately the rest is just an extremely boring grind :(
I’m glad they are giving you some time off.
That’s a lot of completions! Gratz on finishing all of them! I’m also trying to climb to 60% completion rate, i don’t know if you have seen this already, but here’s some links I’ve been using that might help you:

Thanks for the link though I’m part of 100Pals so I’m notified long in advance of cheap and easy games using their Scout bot. The completions will slow down this month anyway as I have no money and I’d ought to play some actual games. ;)
Hm, sorry to ask this: But are actually “playing” those games? While I recognize some short games there most of your playtimes are awfully short. Are these really the playtimes of someone playing a game blind and trying to figure puzzles out yourself or reading everything there is. Or do you just use a guide a rush tthrough this to get it “done”. Don’t misunderstand me. It is fine whatever you do. It just would be a waste if you don’t actually play the games and just rush through them as it is work.
I am a member of 100Pals so a lot of the games listed were given to me using their Scout tool. I did however own quite a considerable amount so I spent most of it trying to clear my installed list. It’s long… around 50 out of 800 installed. This month has been a difficult due to some real life issues so I was propping my achievement streaks up with easy games. Unfortunately, it is true as a Completionist… you don’t really “play” the games. You’re after the fastest route possible that is within the legit terms of the game itself; which often attributes using a guide to speed it up.
Damn those completion times. :O
Though I’m guessing Zup! 4 includes idling, it wasn’t that long. ;D /jk But seriously, you’ve gotten a lot done, congrats! I love how just casually mentioned getting another 50 completions next month. XD My year, probably the way it’s going this far.
Did you buy/win/get gifted Pixel Puzzles Junior or was it already free/bundled somewhere? I really hope to get that at some point.
Also, thanks for posting the completions list. Found a couple of games I’d like to try (Phrase Shift, most notably, looks cool!). Good luck with next month’s games!
Yeah, I’m idling cards on most of them for the card money as I’m saving up for Logistical and I’m on a no spending limit this month due to real life stuff. It’s highly unlikely I’ll reach 50 in a month lol, 25 is realistic as I still have a ton of 90% complete games to clear through. Phrase Shift is actually rather fun, I’m hoping that gets more content as the premise behind it was rather cool.
So many!!
Congrats with all your progress!!
I’m also sitting in 63% completion rate and looks like it doesn’t want to change T-T though I don’t play many games at once, so this is all on me :D
Good luck with Skyrim and L.A Noire… LA Noire is an awesome game. It gets boring when going after all the cars for the achievement (I remember I was missing one car and needed to keep driving all the city to find it) D:
I know that feel when you spend time on many short games to improve your stats :P
Congrats on your completions! I’m going to quickly make note of all those visual novels (I haven’t played yet) because you know how much I enjoy reading them ;D
I have a whole list on my wishlist, just waiting for the next Steam Sale haha. I’m too skint at the moment to buy anymore games so holding off until April now due to bills that need paying.
