Alright! Backlog attack go! Teakupo’s profile

Hi, I'm Teakupo! ♥

   Royal Quest

  •    I use a custom SG wins list to keep track of it more accurately! Here's a link to my auto generated one since it's hidden on my profile.
  •    My backlog is sorted into lists based on HLTB's Main + Extra completion time.
  •    I use the "won't play" completion status for games with an updated/remastered version that I would play instead (such as Skyrim vs Skyrim special edition) and for games that are unplayable / shut down / abandoned.

True Steam Achievements - I use TSA for fun achievement tracking. Feel free to add me.
Infinite Backlog - A similar site to BLAEO that I also use for tracking of my steam and non-steam games.

PoP Feb-Mar-Apr! Progress Post

Short

  1. Valley was super enjoyable for me! I actually 100%ed it in one night, which was kind of surprising for me since I haven’t been much of an achievement hunter for a while.

  2. You don’t get any achievements for beating A Story About My Uncle so I linked screenshots of the credit screen. I didn’t end up enjoying this one too much so I’ll just be content with beating it. I’m still glad I played, but it wasn’t really my cup of tea. c:

There are no achievements for Equilinox, so I uploaded a screenshot of the in-game task that completes when you finish all in-game tasks. What a chill game! The first hour or so was kinda frustrating for me while I was trying to learn how to play, but after getting the hang of things it was really relaxing and nice to look at.

April Summary

  • work > games?

I switched from part-time to full-time work, and I’ve been way too tired to play games! :( I beat just one of the challenge me games assigned to me. x.x I did finally beat Stardew, though I couldn’t 100% it. Hoping I’ll get used to this new schedule and sleep less soon. :3

March Summary

  • old habits

I’m playing WoW again. What hope is there for me assassins? I feel none.

I dunno if anyone really cares, but I was hoping for some people’s opinion about an idea I had.
clicky link here: does this seem like a waste of time if I were to do this for all my console games? I’m not entirely sure I have much of a purpose for it in mind yet though. I am kinda jealous of people who have such thought out backlog attack plans and would like one myself, but that includes my console games. So maybe it could help? Idk what I’m doing.

Hmm. I haven’t beat any long games in 2 months! But I’m still working away at Stardew Valley. In a few hours it will be my most played game on steam! Maybe I’ll beat it next month. :3 Wall of text incoming. sorry. <3

I think Riff Racer - Race Your Music! is supposed to be a rhythm combined with a driving game, but there is very little rhythm in this game. The track and obstacles are based on the music you choose, but the gameplay doesn’t really seem to be that dependent on the music. Maybe it’s supposed to be like that and the music is just to make the driving more fun, but it seemed a bit boring to me. It was still pretty fun and I enjoyed the hours I played, but I think it would be better if there would be a bit more to the game I guess. I’m not sure though. It was still good.

Midsummer Night has an interesting story! It’s really short, like an hour and a half long. I often tend to avoid “adventure” games because I find a lot of puzzles to be obscure and hard to figure out, but this one is pretty simple and straight forward. There are some puzzles but they all made sense to me (from what I remember, I did play this one over a month ago now. :x) So it wasn’t really a memorable game for me, I enjoyed playing but I’ve since mostly forgotten about it. D: I think one day I might play through for more achievements.

I didn’t like VOI. It is a really visual puzzle game and visual is my weakest point. I don’t think it’s a bad game, it just really wasn’t for me even though I usually love simple puzzle games. I gave up near the end and used a guide because I was so frustrated. It wasn’t too difficult for me to solve, I just found it incredibly annoying and not worth my frustration. D:

Genital Jousting was a game my friend bought me to play with her. It’s silly and currently deserving of its early access status. There isn’t much to do because after playing for an ~hour you’ve experienced everything. But yeah, juvenile humour but it’s good fun to play with friends for a bit. I don’t think I’d pay for it though, the fun wears off quickly.

Trine 2!! This was an SG win that took me way too long to get around to. This game is sooo much fun. I’ve only played it in multiplayer and multiplayer always makes games fun for me though. :3 I haven’t played the DLC yet but hopefully I can convince my friends to do that soon. ;) It was also really beautiful. For some reason when I think of a platformer game I usually assume they don’t look that good. Trine 2 was always so pretty though. I don’t think I caught any of the story though, maybe because I haven’t played the first one yet. I definitely plan to play this again, probably to at least experience the warrior and archer since I mostly played the wizard. I would also like to 100% this game possibly, but it might be too difficult for me.

The Beginner’s Guide was totally engrossing almost the whole time. It really makes you feel emotions and stuff. But some of it felt really… forced? to me. I’m not sure that’s the right word, but the ending didn’t feel as sincere as the rest of the story to me. I’m really glad that I played this game anyway though. I’d probably recommend it to anyone who enjoys story games. :D

Montaro is the cutest runner game I have ever seen! It has the cutest dog who steals panties from girls! The gameplay is probably average for a runner but that’s good enough because at least the gameplay isn’t bad. :D One achievement is really grindy unfortunately because you have to steal quite a large number of panties but there is no counter to tell you how much you have already stolen. I was trying to get the achievement in one night but I ended up giving up due to boredom, and when I started the game up again the next day I got the achievement really quickly. Like in the next run. D: I was so close…

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is just amazing. In the beginning I didn’t understand what was going on in the story at all, but it didn’t take that long to figure out. I first tried playing this with my boyfriend, but he really disliked it and quit playing pretty quickly. After beating the game on my own I think it’s because we both had 1 arm and 1 leg. If I played again co op I think it would be better if one did legs, and the other did the arm. This game was way better than I expected anyway. The story is almost charming. I expected a silly and kinda pointless game, but this game is really well done. I really enjoyed it. I hope I can convince others to play co-op with me sometime! I think it’s a really fun co-op game. :3

OmniBus. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. This is the first “Actually Playing Games” win that I’ve beaten so far. I have such mixed feelings about it. I think I went in with the wrong impression of this game being easier than it was LOL. DC must be amazing at games for OmniBus to be an easy game for him. :3 I would love to go back and play for more achievements, but right now I won’t. Maybe in the future. So the game is actually fun, with lots of variation in both your bus and the levels. I don’t even think any of the levels were really similar despite there being so many. But it’s kind of frustrating! I have a feeling this was due to me sucking at… games in general? idk. It was like RNG to me if the bus was going to land on its wheels or not which seemed annoying. I would have liked a bit more control over the bus, even though the silly physics was a big part of the game, so I’m not sure how that would work at all. Oh well. And the last boss took like 2 hours (or more?) for me to beat. This also felt super random to me. I would get to like, 3 seconds away from winning, and then you had to aim your bus at the boss and hit a rocket that he was shooting at you and hope it would bounce your bus into him. Maybe I was doing this wrong? But it took me hours to finally hit him. Aside from that boss it was fun! I’m glad I played. :3 Thanks DC. <3
