Backlog assassination progress:
1)Little Nightmares
Finished the last dlc. This game was way better than i ever expected in all ways possible.

2)12 Labours of Hercules IV: Mother Nature (Platinum Edition)

3)12 Labours of Hercules V: Kids of Hellas (Platinum Edition)

4)The Whispered World Special Edition
I liked the story on this one but i think some puzzles were not logical. Either way a nice adventure for the fans of the genre. On to completing Silence now.

5)Golden Fever

6)Pretty Girls Panic!

Also made some progress through my SG wins which i had neglected a bit. :/
7)7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover

8)Tomb Raider
Mp in games like TB always makes me wonder why they included it in the first place. Apart from that i enjoyed the game once more, this time on PC.

9)Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan
10)Eventide 2: The Sorcerers Mirror
Seems HOGs from Artifex Mundi never stop being enjoyable. At least the ones i played so far.

11)Pickers
I did enjoy this casual hybrid quite much.

12)Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy

13)Draw Your Game

14)Stickman Jetpack
It’s a stickman.. with a jetpack.. A rather extremely short game(14mins completion time?). At least there were 14mins of fun!! :)

15)Glowfish
A casual game which seems like a port from a mobile game. Either way it plays without problems on PC and i enjoyed it all the way.

Until next assassination time..

I need to get around finishing Little Nightmares, what did you think of the DLC? I’ve heard people complaining about length, but if you think it was good, I don’t really car about length.

Never understood the TB MP as well, felt super forced and pointless.

HoLYAssAsIN

I don’t know if i can be objective here. :P I mean i loved the game since the first 10mins of gameplay. Sure the dlc(s) were kinda short but the story of another prisoner of the Maw(the boy) was nice and the puzzles were very interesting(especially on the last dlc). If you enjoy playing the base game i’m sure you will enjoy the dlc(s) as well. ^^

Hyo

Glad to hear it, I loved the base game so far :)

Formidolosus

Yeah I hate it when a mostly single player game shoehorns in some multiplayer mode. It means it will pretty much never be beatable. I like what some of the call of duty games do which is have the MP mode as a different ‘game’ essentially, so you can still get 100% on the single player mode years later. Makes much more sense to me.

HoLYAssAsIN

The only good thing about TB MP was that you could farm the xp you needed for reaching lvl60 in solo games. :P It was a pain of a grind but it took way less than trying to acquire the xp in actual MP matches. Of course that goes for me as i didn’t enjoy the 3rd person shooter MP. And,yes, i agree on the CoD thing with separate SP and MP. Way better way to go than ‘‘force’’ your buyers to play your MP so they can 100% the game.

Bangledeschler

Hopefully the multiplayer in single player games is becoming a thing of the past. I don’t see it nearly as often as I used to. I know I certainly had to struggle through the Tomb Raider Multiplayer to get all the achievements. Luckily there are a few Steam Groups out there that help with this sort of thing :).

Hyo

If anything, Take-Two, Activision and EA seem adamant on removing the Single Player to put Battle Royal modes. Good thing they are the only ones, so, not much is going to be missed :P

tsupertsundere

How scary is Little Nightmares? Are there a lot of timing apsects to the game?
I’ll play it anyway whenever I get around to picking it up but I’d like to know how much of a scarefest I’m in for

HoLYAssAsIN

There are quite a few scripted events that require you to run to escape or to not be detected which give you an adrenaline rush combined with the fear of running/hiding for your life. I guess it depends on the player and the immersion, how much of a scarefest the game can be.

tsupertsundere

Oh man! This might be one I’ll play with my girlfriend n_n;; thank you for the heads up!

Trilled Meow

I played Whispered World a few months ago and loved Sadwick and his weird English voice. The puzzles are like that in most Daedalic games I’ve played, unfortunately, but the characters and stories make up for it. The puzzles in Silence are more stream-lined.

HoLYAssAsIN

Well i have to agree that puzzles in Daedalic games are like that. But i think this one overdid it just a little more than the rest. ^^
Thanks for the info about Silence!
Have you tried Deponia series?

Trilled Meow

Yeah, I played the first Deponia a few months ago with another user here for the Team Assassin monthly challenge. We started the second one, but I think we may have gotten overwhelmed (or at least I did) by the number of puzzles in the city area and will have to get back into it at some point. But I thought Deponia was really funny with interesting characters.

HoLYAssAsIN

Well it does have the typical ‘‘Daedalic puzzles’’ but the series make up with the story and the characters. The only title it felt kinda out of order was Deponia Doomsday(separate title after the trilogy) and the puzzles there were way too akward as well. You can skip that one but you should definitely finish the trilogy. I can promise you it 100% worth it. ^^
