Finally finished this. I finished it on the Origin app, so I’m guessing my achievements and hours won’t reflect on Steam.It was a wild ride, and I’m happy I was able to finish it after all this time. The mechanics are a lot more manageable now since I no longer have to micromanage the team’s weapons and armor. The “healing” ability has also changed into a “resurrect”, which was weird but I’m okay with it. I usually end up not using up my medi-gel, which is great. As usual though, I didn’t get the romance route. I was aiming for Mordin, but after a while, he just shut me down when I try to talk to him, so I’m guessing I messed up somewhere again. On the other hand, I had to make an effort to make sure I don’t end up with Jack, Tali, Miranda, or Samara.
My fishes also keep dying. :(
I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, but I still have others in my backlog. Not to mention Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider also look so cool. And Final Fantasy XV. sigh So many games, so little time.
I’m sorry to hear about your fish x.x You have good taste going for trying to go for Mordin. I definitely hope you get to check out Mass Effect 3, as there is more Mordin content to be had and a really great game despite the ending Furthermore have you checked out any of the DLC?

I will definitely get ME3 and Andromeda. I I only got the Cerberus Network content. I don’t have the Arrival, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Overlord, and Kasumi expansions. Just read about them and I feel like I should get them but they’re like the price of a new game. :(
I wish you could romance Mordin, but unfortunately he’s not an option. Mass Effect 2 was my favorite out of the series, and even just reading your review brought me back to it.
How did your suicide mission end up?
Hmm succesfully? I have not watched any alternative endings yet. I kept the Collectors’ base but worry about the Illusive Man’s intentions. I also wanted to keep Legion but he seems to be the best option for the hacking task. :/ I don’t have ME3 yet so I can’t continue the story. I wanted to know if the Rachni would show up and how the Geth would be after I re-indoctrinated them into their original state. I kinda feel bad for the Collectors’ fate too.
Meanwhile, I think I’ll just watch alternative endings on YouTube.
Tali is also fine for hacking. And it’s funny to hear how she constantly hush you to run faster :D
Yeah, I was deciding between her and Legion. Was kinda hoping Legion would survive somehow since he’s a group of programs in one mobile platform.
There are few factors that influence who will survive. Like not upgrading your ship guarantees that squad members will die. Same as having non-loyal squad members. So situation where picking Tali and Legion doesn’t really matter is possible, as they will die no matter what

Yeah I thought as much. It was kind of in the conversation as well before they started. I also worried others would die, so I made sure to pick those I deem best for the tasks. Also, I did all the loyalty quests because I love the lore and upgraded the ship early on. It kinda hinted the necessity for it although I didn’t expect it’d be useful only at the very end.
