Another month of little to no gaming . . . except Coloring Pixels.
But, good thing is, I’m almost done with my senior thesis! After I complete that, and another paper that’s due 8th of June, I will be officially done with my bachelor’s degree.
I actually made a lot of progress this month! Completed . . . 8 different images, woo!
But most of my time in Coloring Pixels this month went into r/Place pack, which is proving to be difficult to progress in. I was hoping to complete the first image in May, but not even that got done. Still, for fun purposes, here's my progress at the end of May: https://imgur.com/a/FB1Neak

The r/place DLC has been both a blessing and a curse… I somehow managed to put in 100+ hours in May just to make progress in it… somehow got halfway through and am slowly but surely running out of things to listen to while I color xD

Even though realistically I know they release new packs about every three weeks, I do feel like that too… ^^;
But I’m already way behind the packs, that’s why I feel like it’s impossible to catch up :P

Gosh, I never really thought about it… well, looks-wise, anything that’s realistic enough is great. As for coloring… I can’t stand realistic images. There’s just too much jumping around with different shades of the same colors, it’s unbearable :’D
I suppose Tarot, one of the more recent ones, was nice? It got repetitive, using the same few colors in each image over and over again, but at the end of the day, the whole set has a stylish look to it.
The realistic images kill me … they’re so hard to color OMG. Even right now the only reason I’m not done with Animals pack is because of the Snow Leopard and the Clown Fish (?) one. I started SL like, months ago… and still not done because it’s basically a different color for every single pixel.
Also people will get angry about anything haha. I saw r/Place made them angry because it’s so big and Tarot because it’s repetitive. :P
I absolutely loathed the Clownfish image! I completely forgot most of the images that appeared in the game, but when I looked back at that one, I recalled the struggle :’)

Not to mention that one guy who got mad at them for “not rating the DLC appropriately” (since there’s foul language in a few parts), even though they explicitly mentioned that they made it free because of that.
I think they made it a DLC because of the language. It was going to be free, but it needs to be downloaded/added to the account manually because of that. Lmao people
… I haven’t started Clownfish one yet and I’m dreading it… first need to finish snow leopard before I can get there tho. :p

Somehow I didn’t get the update about it, but now that you told me, I did! For some reason I thought they released a pack every three weeks, they claim they release one every five weeks, but this one is coming out four weeks after the previous one… thinking
