Monthly Update: June 2024
Not much played this month - I got sick for a couple of weeks so gaming wasn't happening!
I did play about 12 hours of the Aloft demo, which I enjoyed. I loved the building especially - it had a lot of QoL stuff like allowing overlapping, poles that could be extended in height etc. Be interested to see how it develops, as the game did feel a little sparse, but the building did hold me over for a while! Otherwise my time was mostly playing a bit of God of War at the beginning of the month and My Time at Sandrock the last couple of days of the month!

Oh dang you started some super long games no wonder you didn’t beat anything! Don’t be getting heatstroke don’t need you getting poorly again.
That is a good way to look at it. Maybe I should add in a short game here and there to make progress numbers wise!
It is actually freezing! Cold weather and middle of winter means everyone is getting sick here. I go from freezing cold, to overheating with the electric blanket though 😅
I saw australia I hear it being super hot but super cold is bad too. We had a hot start last week on monday+tuesday then suddenly it got cold. I didn’t plan on using my new jacket so soon but I did mention the possibility of the 50 days of rain this summer. Its suppose to be raining this whole week yet it hasnt rained today so they might be lying

You started my time at sandrock?!?! I really loved playing it, but I finished it a while ago and there have been so many updates I’m wondering how different my second playthrough will be in the future. Also I agree, sand is rough, coarse, and gets everywhere - fortunately this is a desert reforestation game. I wish you luck!! The town gets so beautiful.
Maybe I’ll make up for it this month 😂
I’m really enjoying MTaS - it pretty much is Portia, just with a more convenient storage system… and there is a lot of sand.
I didn’t know the game let us reforest the area - that’s cool! I’ve only just passed the first month in-game (that was also a surprise, starting in Summer. All these games have trained me to think that Spring is the first month).
I did debate trying to fit the whole quote into workshop name, but decided it might cause issues so limited it to the beginning!
But yeah it was worth the impulse decision to purchase it this weekend, after not really playing much otherwise!
