It’s an awesome mix of metroidvania and bullet hell, in which we are playing as a tiny ship. I was playing on my Steamdeck and had absolute blast - smooth controls, interesting map, fun abilities. I have nothing bad to say here, if you like those genres, play it!

Recollection

Weird short game. I would say walking sim with hidden object elements and easy mini games? Mostly meditative game about how beautiful and fragile world around is. You need to fiinish it two time to see everything, but one playthrough is about half an hour.

A Game About Digging A Hole

I feel like this game exploeded a bit in You Tube. It’s…. fine. You are digging a hole in your garden, finding resources, selling those to buy better equipment to dig more efficient. At the end the gameplay is changing a bit, but I’m not gonna talk about, because spoilers. It’s very, very basic and short. But for a quick play - it is weirdly satisfying.

“Where’s Waldo” the game. Simply as that. A series of big picture full of details and you need to find some characters on those. I had two problems. One - some of the pictures were just too big. There is a hint system, and if I wasn’t using it, I would still be looking for some objectives… Two - some of the maps are just reused previous pictures mixed together, an I though it’s cheating a bit. But the art is nice, and If you like where’s Waldo, it’s ok game of this genre.

Very nice little game, similar to Short hike, but with silly humor. Small, open world map full of collectibles and little activities - mostly fetch quests, minigames, and some easy platforming, you need to finish particular number of those activities to meet the goal. Is stupid, it’s fun, I almost 100% this, but the last objective was a bit too grindy.

100% standard metroidvania. Every classic stuff in the genre - standard abilities, hidden walls, big map, bosses, items which give you passive boosts… If you like the genre - it’s a good, safe choice.

Little Kitty, Big City

8/10

Cute cozy game about a cat, who need to return home. Small open world map, some obligatory things to do (some. I honestly think this game can be finished in half an hour if you just do mandatory stuff). But most of all - a lot of little activities you can do, little side quests, collactables, fun characters to meet. It’s incredibly cute and relaxing. I still think that in terms of cat games Stray is the best, but this one is quite close, and much more chilled.
