This is a nice game. The previous game studio had more options for colours so that moved onto the girls. The pictures are very nice in the latest pictures and while having slight nudity isn't focused on that. They even added 20 more photos on the smaller size which is nice but at the same time its not the same quality as the big ones so its kinda yay and nay
This was such a great game. There's lots of photos and none of them I felt the need to skip like the art ones where every pixel is a different colour. They added more options colour wise, before it was like grey grey greyish blue, green and blue. Now we have a pink, a red and a dark green. I really liked using this new pink option as its not used as much as green or blue so I was able to see what I was colouring for once and it wasn't to eye pain like the next 2 colours
I finally completed this game and my god is 10k enemies so much. I mean its a pain in any jrpg to do that many deaths but this one doesn't stop attacking when they are dead, it will do side attacks if equipped with a 2nd player, you cant attack enemies behind another so you either have them all attack or you just keep pressing skip turn as it just does it all in 1 go instead of 1 by 1. Plus there's the whole fact it crashes a bunch but you know what I got it done
I am sad that this game is hated so much cuz of the issues it has as it generally is a nice game. I love the girls and the boys. Its so good but its only gonna be thought of the game that got abandoned with it lagging, stuttering and crashing.
You know what I think I prefer challenge mode. This game has 2 versions, 1 where the lady walks and you follow and 1 where you control both characters. Its just so much easier controlling both since you can control the speeds easier then figuring out how fast you are allowed to go and keep playing a im to slow, now im to fast game.
Blasted game has no window mode and no steam overlay!
Its an old adventure game. You cant collect items until you find out what you need it for so its kinda a pain having to go back and forth but you know I can't complain about a early 2000 game. The story it self is decent. Its interesting seeing the way the protag changes with each passing chapter. He starts off preparing to go to a good school, all smart like but then his hair and demeaner start getting more raggard. Its gonna be interesting how the sequels go on
I did it dark rose was completed! I straight up never intended to get it done cuz of the crashing issues and stuff but I did. I don’t get why they made new game so bad, like sure I didn’t have to do many quests cuz the records got kept but they don’t keep the levels so if you replay it, you are replaying it properly.
Oh you have finally completed Dark Rose, congrats! 10k enemies is a lot for any IFI game though. I wish it had a better PC port.
Yeah 10k is their normal amount to get but in their other games its not bad as they have set spawns. Dark rose has a day night cycle that changes up how many enemies show, what enemies show and even if 1 battle does have 5 the next one might only have 3 cuz randomness. I was spending like 10 hours a day only to get 1k enemies done it was so slow. I managed to get to 6k on my 1st playthrough so I still knew I had 4 days more to work at it
Hmm, so they added day/night cycle as a “change enemies” function for dungeons similar to their other games, but this time it’s not optional I assume. Looking at the achievement rates killing 1000 enemies and beating the game is quite close. Comparing to that 6k in one playthrough is impressive. Though to me 10k enemies is still a lot even if it was hack’n’slash.
Well you can change the time but you cant quick travel to your base in order to do that, you would have to run all the way back to the warp point which is to much of a pain. I made sure to kill absolutely everything I came across, searching every damn corner. You end up going back to the same places like 10x for missions.
I think I ended the game at 5k but then I proceeded to spend a whole day trying to kill another thousand before thinking hell no. So I just replayed the game again in order to have some breaks in between but that’s when I learnt one of the only things to pass in new game is the enemy stats so I couldnt even do half the missions that would’ve helped give me at least a thousand more. So instead while moving from place to place I made sure to just kill any enemy on the trail
Kinda similar to Neptunia VII I guess. If replenishing only on base is also similar, I would guess it wasn’t easy too.
Sometimes I don’t like ridiculous proportions in IFI games. I think they need to work on gameplay loop to make it more fun before adding this kind of achievements. Instead they just add many endings and think people would play all and get achievements that way. If you can have fun that what matters though.
Yeah there’s like 5 endings if you get the true end but there’s so much gameplay in between that its not worth it. Plus you only get that if you manage to get 5 love points with a character and while I can get 1 of my favourites to 5 I can’t get the other. I do gradually get them to 5 with a few more missions done but I don’t know when they stop showing the romance option.
