No One Lives Under the Lighthouse: Somewhat interesting low-poly horror that’s heavily inspired by The Lighthouse movie. Not really that scary and can really drag on in some of its segments. 6,5/10
Blade Runner 9732: Basically a tech demo. Might’ve been more interesting back when it was released and in VR. You can recreate the enchancing scene, but there’s not much interactivity besides that. 6/10
Kitty Survivors: Amateurish, but definitely better than Primal Survivors. 6,5/10
NAIRI: Tower of Shirin: A mix of VN and point’n’click adventure. Puzzles are easy but fun. Turns out it’s only a first part. 8/10
Lizard Survivors: Yet another VS clone based on a russian meme game that has gone viral. Could’ve been more fun if it had a Turbo option for speeding up the gameplay, since even during the first run ever it gets unbearably boring to play. 5/10
Resident Evil 4 (2005): Ah, RE4, my beloved. While it’s a huge detour from previous games, it’s nearly perfect. I have high hopes for the remake. 9,5/10
Chuchel: Another Amanita Design’s point’n’click. As usual, all puzzles are resolved by clicking and you have no inventory. It’s very loud, childish and slapsticky, so that might turn some people off. 7/10
Resident Evil Survivor: Not on steam. A very weird (and pretty bad) game in the franchise. Mostly so bad it’s good, especially in the voice acting department. Very weird balance - the pre-final level has no healing items (at least I never found one) and if you die, the game sends you back veeeeeery far. Somehow beat it. 6/10
I’ve also decided to revive ABC Lightning Round challenge, since I’ve been browsing my backlog and realizing I will NOT launch some of the games here unless I’m really forced to. Already beat a few games, but not posting the report on them till I’m done.
Backlog progress status:
Congratulations on your assassinations!! ᓚᘏᗢ
I’ve played none of these, though I’ve heard of Nariri and that it’s good; is it really only a part 1?!?
What are your plans for May?
I’ve got seriously hooked on replaying Stardew Valley. Really hope to play some other games…
Yeah. Thank god I didn’t have to wait six (!) years for the sequel. It’s still not released, but it’s coming this year, I think.
I already got into similar situation with Scheming Through the Zombie Apocalypse, which came out in 2018 and the sequel got released last month. Didn’t play it yet though
