I also tried a few demos, such as:

• Solarpunk I really enjoyed (crafting/building/survival-ish).
• Game of Thrones: Kingsroad was better than expected, very follow the path set in the first bit of the game I tried. Still not sure about the lore and think it might have been intended as a different game until they added the GoT environment. I'll likely play it though. It looked great and character creator was also excellent.
• Lost Skies is another floating island game with gliding. Gliding was OK - but I much preferred Aloft's gliding. Has combat, climbing and grapple hook. Also puzzles. I played for a bit and I gathered and crafted, but no building yet. This is a wait and see game for me..
• Wanderstop was very scenic - I was really wanting a photomode in this game because of how cool it all looked! Not to sure on gameplay, as I didn't play for long.
• Sugardew Island I gave up on my desktop - it may play better with a controller but I had enough pretty quickly.
