Hi there! I’m a new member.
I had a nice streak of finished games lately.
It started mid-august with Bioshock Remastered, which i started and abandoned a few times and I finally decided to finish it.
Then - why not all games in series:
Bioshock 2 Remastered finished on 23rd august, Infinite on 29th august.

Then, as I’m a fan of Max Payne and Remedy I finished Alan Wake (sep 2nd), Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (sep 3rd) and Control Ultimate Edition (oct 24th).

Now playing mostly Rise of the Tomb Raider and L.A. Noire on Steam Deck.
Next in line - Shadow of the Tomb Raider of course :-)

Hi! Welcome to BLAEO! :D

I liked BioShock Remastered, but I feel like I may have never soaked in the story/lore as much as I would have liked because I never played it alone. I’m also not that great with games that require dexterity/speed, so I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get all the achievements ^^;;

Softjoe

Yep, this game is all about lore. Gameplay is great I finished it for the story.

Welome! o/
Aww, I’m jealous. You’re playing games I wanna play, but unfortunately I’m stuck under an avalanche of other games and irl matters…
Anyway, that’s a nice progress. Hope you enjoyed Bioshock series despite abandoning it several times… ^_^;
And any intent to play AW2 any time soon, or are you gonna wait for steam release, or maybe you are “full” with Remedy experience and don’t need more for the time being?

Also, here’s a useful link for making funny boxes on blaeo conveniently if you are interested: https://kubikill.github.io/blaeogenerators/

Thanks for the link, I already used progress bar :)
I’m making a little break from Remedyverse while saving some money for new RTX to really get the best out of AW2.

Congratulations on your assassinations!!!
Woah, getting into the Tomb Raider series? I tried to play but I’m bad with QTE’s and the fact they were showing me buttons to press for a controller I wasn’t using and didn’t own made it 10x worse.

Welcome aboard. Since we’re at it - how does Bioshock Infinite compare to the other two?

Softjoe

It’s different. The gameplay is worse unfortunately. There is a lot of shooting, vigors are less useful, you can’t do builds as for example Wrench Build in B1. The story is very good however, it’s complex and interesting. The setting is obviously different, Columbia is really pretty, bright and vibrant. I really recommend it just for the story, including Burial at Sea DLC.
