November 2023
mid-november to mid-december is a tough time to be a graduate student. i hope i’ll survive to see the new year. i’m back to gaming, it seems. i was very irresponsible this month and played a lot. oh well. no assassinations, though.
the star of this month: apico.
once i started playing i couldn't stop. 50 hours, all of them in november.
it's actually "beaten" as i've finished the "main story" and saw the credits, but i'm aiming to 100% achievements, so for the time being i'll stay as "unfinished". i'll mark it only after i'm done with it.
+2 hours
unfortunately ooblets didn't get much screen time this month. maybe in december i'll finish it.
+1 hour
+5 images completed (all very small)
haven't been feeling like playing this game lately, even though i really wanted to. maybe i'll do one of the Advent packs, starting tomorrow.
Congrats! You’ve had a fun looking November, I’ve actually never heard of Ooblets before, the graphics remind me of Going Under. How do you like it compared to the other farming sims you’ve played?
I adore APICO, glad you did too :-)
I’m so glad to not be in uni anymore, even though life hasn’t been easy these past few months. I need people to give me direction, but it also can’t be half-hearted or half-assed, ‘cause then something’s bound to go wrong. Are you in the process of writing your thesis?
Ooblets is out on Steam now? :O I thought they didn’t want to add it. I already played through it on Switch last year/early this year, but maybe I should get it again …
(edit: Nevermind I just saw the price on Steam 💀)
Oh yes, it released on Steam in October. I was waiting for it since they announced it back in 2018, so I purchased immediately. It was also somewhat discounted since people had it on other platforms.
I think they had an Epic Exclusivity agreement for a bit, that’s why they didn’t add it to Steam :P
