I started playing this game as part of the Removed Game Challenge Week thread on Steamgifts because it fit the criteria and it was a game I had won on Steamgifts so now to finish the job started in that thread I will trudge through the rest of this game. (Seriously, there is no running or sprinting so if you have to backtrack through the halls you’ve already cleared out you have to slowly trudge back through them and there is a lot of backtracking)

Yes this is THAT game. Why choose this game to tackle first…. well let’s say if I get the bad stuff out of the way then the good stuff will be much more enjoyable :-)

It’s always nice to see some progress so soon. Have you researched if there’s a mod available? I remember a similar problem existing in the first Witcher game (which I didn’t play) that was corrected by a mod.
I don’t think there is any mods for this game which is not surprising. The game’s pacing just seems to stay at a very droll speed and with the slightly too tight camera angle for a top down shooter sprinting could be dangerous in some places I suppose. I’ll get through it but I’m strangely being very thorough checking every room and hallway before exiting because there are some story bits on computer pads that are…. well okay even the story isn’t terribly interesting.
