June Progress Report
Completed my first month using BLAEO 
It was not all smooth sailing as I mostly only finished short games and didn’t get to touch the bigger ones at all due to being super busy IRL. This was a valuable lesson in managing the backlog: I shouldn’t have aimed so high. Would be better for me to just be a bit more realistic and not set such lofty goals to begin with. The steam summer sale also didn’t help the backlog at all and I bought more than I thought I would 😐
Completed games:
SG Win. I enjoyed this the most out of all I finished this month. Difficult to say everything I liked about this game in a short blurb like this, so I'll link to my review on Steam.

Another SG Win 🥳 This is a brilliantly designed minesweeper-style game but with hexes. While it jumps in difficulty quite fast, every bit of information you need to complete each level without any mistakes is always provided. It's so satisfying to solve. This was the first Hexcells game I played; looking forward to checking out the others someday.

Charming little game. Shame that the devs closed their studio due to (mostly) financial reasons. We probably won't ever get a proper sequel or even another game from them. At least they released two demos of unfinished games they were working on.

Almost forgot I finished this. Playtime is a bit inaccurate because I alt-tabbed out a lot… ah well. All the UBERMOSH games are extremely similar and it's better to think them as a single game with many variations. Doesn't make the game any less enjoyable though, I love how fast-paced the thing is and it's such a rush when you actually win.

Interesting platformer with a somewhat unique gimmick. For something that's free to play, it's not bad at all.

Also finished a couple of other f2p games on steam but they were too short to be worth a mention…

Yeah my gaming definitely got better her, but my backlog certain suffered. I know it would’ve gotten bigger anyway but I like to joke that its blaeo fault for making me gain like 1k games in 3 years

Haha yeah, the steam sale had more 80% off offers in my WL than I thought it would so I ended getting a… few. (cough 7 cough)
AER was fun, I’m sad they closed their studio though, I still have no idea what that ending was about.
Thanks, and 100% agree regarding AER. The ending was rather abrupt and unfortunately didn’t explain much at all :/ And now we won’t ever get a sequel :(
