February Middle Month Post
Ok, I'm trying make a post every 2 weeks and it seems pretty nice schedule for me. If anybody actually give a damn about my posts since I strongly doubt it.
Lonely whining
At first, I wanna whine a little bit. It's Valentine outside. Couples get dating, enjoy each other and feel happy in many ways. And I'm kinda lonely. No, seriously I am. And I think I need at least a hug. Just one single hug. From my friend or somebody who I could call that way. It would just couple of minutes but still I wanna find that person. Just one hug in Portal 2 for last achievement. 'Cause I've already got everything else and already hug there 2 my steam-friends. Thanks, btw, RobotDucky and hablausted for help with cheevos! Also give a hug to RobotDucky as he has the same problem with last cheevo. Btw, hablausted isn't on this site and probably never read this post but whatever.
So I just need anybody who has Portal 2 to add me to friend list on Steam an make in-game gesture "hug". That's all will take about 5 minutes if you have this game installed. After you can put me back into your blacklist again ^____^

Also I would like to play Castle Crashers with somebody and it would be great opportunity since this game in month theme. But anyway let's get back to my progress in this month
Current games
Well I play some weird games. GOD EATER RESURRECTION and A Boy and His Blob. They are good but...
GOD EATER RESURRECTION has many pros and cons. Story is decent and interesting but dialogues are dull. Gameplay is variable and complex but grinding is killing me T_T
A Boy and His Blob has great arts and music but crappy controls. Let's hope that I'll have passion to finish it.

Just easy-to-finish ones. Some HOGs, VN, etc. And, to be honest, I don't like HOGs or VNs, I just like easy games and I should be ashamed for this >_>
So I'm too lazy to describe all of them, so I just say that these games are meh and I don't really like them. And let's be clear it's just my crappy impression. If you actually like them I respect your opinion =)

I care about you escollo :) And I care about your posts. My problem is I try to avoid reading about games I haven’t played. And I haven’t played a lot of games… and the ones I’ve played, I prefer easy ones too.
Oh, if you had posted this few days ago I could help you right away. I removed Portal from my pc just few days ago, but of course I easily download it again and help you with your achievement if is ok to you :D - this should take one day to download due my awful connection speed :x
And congrats about your progress!!! Easy games or not, you managed to play them and is a good thing!! :D
Every game counts! Every single one. Just take a look at my completed list, they’re mostly quick and easy ones. If you enjoy the games, what’s the hassle? Achievement Hunting shouldn’t be something you feel forced to do, it’s for enjoyment to see things you may have missed. If you like easy games, try Oik, Pain Train, Zup series and ANIMALITY. All are rather doable. Have fun mate!

That’s some nice progress you got there.
If I had more time, or at least predictable time when I could be online I’d play Castle Crashers with you, since it is also on my backlog. But unfortunately I can only play when my baby daughter is asleep and it would be very difficult to coordinate…
If you really want you can play it solo. Obviously this game was designed for co-op, but singleplayer is still good.
And, btw, at least you have right priorities in your life :D
Congrats on the backlog fight, it doesn’t matter if you consider them “easy”, progress is progress. I’m also in the middle of A boy and his blob at the moment, and I agree about the controls -__- It’s extremely sluggish at times… (Which seems to be a pattern with what I play lately, Castle of illusion was the same).

As long as you talk, even just a little, about what a game is like I will care and read the post, even I if don’t always comment in it. People who just phone it in (I assume to stay in the group) are the posts and people I don’t care about.

You’re being terrible inefficient then, with the titles and pictures and stuff. Just write “playing God Eater and Boy Blob pretty meh. finished lots of vns and hogs, I’m the best!” :p
Like many others, I too care about my fellow assassins’ updates! :) I read them all, even though I don’t write any comments most of the time.
I like nice and easy games too by the way, and I personally enjoy HOGs very much :)

Hey Escollo, if you need a hugger still just add me and I can jump on to Portal 2 some time. I don’t know where you are but my main game time is generally from 1800 - 2000 GMT, so do the maths based on whereever you are and if that’s convenient for you then add me.

Nah, you can always get more hugs! There’s never a bad time for a hug.. okay, maybe in some situations.
And like other people mentioned, no reason to feel ashamed for binge-playing some easy, short games. I sometimes find myself not in the mood to start a long game, when that happens I check out my library in HLTB to see if there’s anything in the backlog that I can finish in a couple of hours. :)

Everyone cares about everyone’s posts here. We all are trying to motivate each other to tackle our backlogs and that’s why this website is helping so many people!
Why should you be ashamed of enjoying easy games? What’s wrong with them? Everyone is free to enjoy any genre they like and I hope we, here on BLAEO, reached a certain maturity to appreciate these differences rather than judge each other for them.

I didn’t mean it like that. I kinda interpreted it as you judging yourself or expecting other people to judge you just cause you like easy games. I am sorry for the misunderstanding, that was the meaning I got from what you said. My point still stands though for anyone who reads :P
Break into Zatwor should be a massive achievement in my opinion. I watched my friend get stuck in Absconding Zatwor (and quit playing) and that game is NOT easy at all! :O
Break into Zatwor is kinda not an achievement. You can skip every level pressing “L” except last one and get every cheevo. All it would take just few minutes.
