Learning how this site works (:
Hello everyone, I didn’t have internet for a while because I moved to the middle of nowhere and there is no ISP that gets here. I’ve got a temporal solution until quarantine is over and I can get satellital internet which is very slow and expensive but this is my life now. Also, as I played online, the playtime showed here may not actually reflect how much I played these games.
I guess that with moving, no work and no internet this would’ve been a nice time to catch up with the backlog but things happened and I didn’t feel with the energy to even move for a while and I slept most of the days away, I’m still slowly recovering from it.
But anyway, is for the games that we are here. As with my previous post, I’ve been abandoning more than I beat.
Abbandoned
Black The Fall: I was excited to play this one and I liked it at the beginning but then I got kinda tired of the puzzles, they didn’t feel really fun so I skipped it.
Duke Nukem I & II: I just didn’t like them. I’m not much into old games so maybe that was the reason.
Duke Nukem Manhattan Project: The first level wasn’t bad but in the second there’s this part with the cars that is too annoying so I didn’t bother to continue.
Hell Yea!: Another game that I was excited to play but it was kinda meh. I usually play platformers with controller but in this game you have to aim and I hate to aim with a controller. The game didn’t seem like worth tolerating that part so I uninstalled it.
Jotun: I don’t even remember why I didn’t like it. Maybe it was too slow.
Unfinished
Duke Nukem 3D: This one I did like but I got to a point where I didn’t know what to do and as I didn’t have internet I couldn’t google how to advance and just didn’t bother. Now that I have internet I may actually come back.
Flat Heroes: A simple and fun game. A bit hard at times but I’m not leaving this one yet.
The Last Thinker: Kinda cute game. It feels a bit repetitive but I might finish it later.
Beaten
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider: With my current mood I’m not much into games that take a bit to start so I was hesitant about playing this one. I loved Dishonored 1 & 2 so I thought I wasn’t going to enjoy it as it deserved. Maybe that was the case. I kinda rushed it but still liked it. I don’t care enough to get all achievements tho.
F.E.A.R.: By far the one I enjoyed the most from this batch. I don’t really have much to say. It’s a good shooter.
That’s it from me, I hope everyone is staying safe and have a great week!

Hello everybody!
Well, this was a quitting week. Let’s start with the bad news:
Abbandoned
Alpha Protocol: Many people suggested me this game even though I said I’m not really into RPGs and well… Right before I start the game I’m asked to choose between a lot of skills or whatever they are and come on, I want to play and action game, not The Sims. I don’t care about reading what they do and choosing so I uninstalled instantly.
Assault Android Cactus: This one is fun, it just kinda gets harder at some point (to play alone, at least) and it isn’t that good so I didn’t think it was worth the time. I’d rather play something else from the backlog.
Draw Slasher: It’s a dam mobile game.
Eternal Senia: Somebody told me that this wasn’t the average JRPG and it was more action based so I should give it a try. Well, the combat is pretty lame and every step I give the character has something to say. I just want to play the game, if you’re gonna interrupt the gameplay to say something it at least has to be interesting.
GRID: I really like racing games but I’m more on the Need For Speed side. I didn’t like the driving on GRID. Maybe it was too realistic? Maybe it drifts too much? I don’t really know, I just didn’t like it.
Just Cause 2: This is a really fun game. It’s packed with explosions, shooting, grappling, comedy, etc. and I really liked it from the beginning. Thing is, is only like that on the beginning. Then I have to drive from one side of the map to the other just to start a mission. Not only that, a side mission, because main missions are locked behind this crap and I can’t even get there without being chased by the cops. I just want to play the game goddammit!
Unfinished
Immortal Redneck: I really liked this one. No bs, just load the game, shoot stuff, die, repeat. I couldn’t even complete the first pyramid yet but it is still fun to try.
Beaten
Bastion: I heard good things about this game so I was expecting something too good maybe. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really fun game and I love that the story is being told as you play so it won’t interrupt. Is fun, it can be challenging, it is ok. I just don’t think is that good. Anyway, I liked it and finished the story but I didn’t got the achievement for some reason. I didn’t like it enough to try and get all the achievements tho.
That’s it for this week. Everybody stay safe and have a nice week!

Hey there folks! It’s been a little while.
So, recently I asked people on sg to recommend me games from my library and I thought it was a nice opportunity to also come back to Backlog Assassins.
I believe I’ve beaten some games during my absence, mostly Switch games (Breath of the Wild, Bayonetta, Super Mario Odyssey) but I really can’t remember about Steam games because tbh the only reason I remember the Switch games is because I see the boxes.
But anyway, last week I completed Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I thought it was a cool game. I’m not much into scary games, I barely finished Outlast and abandoned DreadOut so when someone told me this was scarier than Outlast I was hesitant. I don’t think it is, or at least it didn’t scared me more than I remember Outlast doing so. There was very few moments with monster and usually I just have to wait for them to go away while crouching and looking at the wall as I do with my irl problems. I also found that the game was very forgiving if I die, which I really appreciate because repeating an objective can be very frustrating, specially in a game where you can’t defend your self.
Overall a cool game, not very scary. I didn’t feel like replaying it for achievements because meh and most of them are secret. I gave Justine a try but I’m not into permadeath so after my first try I just uninstalled the game to make room for others.
That’s it, I hope everybody is staying safe and have a nice week!
I’m back!
Well, kinda. I just got an Xbox One Controller so I’m starting to play those game I left behind because I found them too “difficult” to play with the keyboard. So, I believe that the only decent way to come back is with a fully completed game so here it is:
Some levels were actually pretty hard to get with the S rank but I wasn’t giving up this time!
That’s it for now. Hope you guys have a great week and thanks for reading if you did!
Hello! It has been a while since my last update and really hasn’t happened much.
First, I finished BioShock Infinite but I just don’t know if I liked that end. I can’t decide.
Anyway:
I haven’t finished Outlast yet. I think I’m really close to the end, I just forget about it and I’m a pussy
I got The Bleed Pixels from some bundle and I really liked it. I just don’t have a controller and I am very perfectionist in some things (like I don’t want to leave any thing behind) and it makes it really really hard to play with the keyboard. I may give it another try of course.
I also got Metro Redux Bundle as a gift from a friend and I truly liked it! I never played Metro before. But, I have been very busy and I want to play this one with patience and enjoy it. But I will finnish it!
And the only thing I’ve been playing is Payday 2. Mainly beacuse I don’t have much time/motivation to play seriously so I can just go fo a heist or two while I have lunch. But, I mention it because I’m also doing achivement hunting. Besides from some few achievements that I find a little hard I think I’m only missing the team achievements because I don’t have friends who really like this game as I do. So, if anyone is interested in those achievements add me (:
Besides that I had some other games from bundle but I won’t post them until I at least start them. Hopefully I’ll have some time or will to play soon.
Thanks for reading if you did and have a happy Sunday!
Hi! This is a quick update after almost a month!
I’m trying to continue with Outlast which I started a lot ago. Now, I like the game but I’m such a pussy. I can play a little but then it gets too scary and I just leave it for another moment. I also started BioShock Infinite which I wanted to play since last year I believe. Anyway, I can’t show progress for it here because it is from a shared library. So, I don’t think I’ll post another thing about it besides an “I finished it” when it happens.
That’s it! Hope you guys have a great Sunday and a great weekend!
I’m a quitter
So, it has been 21 days since my last update in which I started and abandoned a bunch of games including but not limited to: Hotline Miami, Nuclear Throne, The Last Door, Hot Tin Roof, Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor, Hektor, Dead Island, A Bird Story, Kholat, Another World and the rest I can’t remember. Anyway, I don’t know if it is that I don’t feel like very enthusiast about playing or just couldn’t find a game I really like. I’m starting college again tomorrow so I guess I will play even less than past 21 days and maybe eventually got kicked of the group for not being a real backlog assassin. Besides, I’ll try not to buy games in a while because I need some money to buy a cell phone. I just broke mine pretty bad. So, I don’t know when or if I will be back on duty. It was a pleasure being read by you and reading you as well. Have a great Sunday and a great backlog assassinating! See you!
Hi everybody! It’s time for another Sunday update (:
I finally finished BioShock 2 and I loved it! It was just great. I wasn’t feeling it too god but those 5 final minutes were just amazing. I got the pure good ending because I just can’t hurt other people (?
I started Shadow Warrior this week and I think I’m already near to the end because it’s getting ridiculously hard! These last days I just quitted in the middle of fights because it’s a bit stressing and frustrating but I think I’ll finish it this week. I really like though.
So, that’s it for today. If someone didn’t see it and want the game I’m giving away a copy of The Purring Quest for the group. It’s a really cute game. I enjoyed it a lot. I hope you have a great Sunday and an even better week!
Hi! I almost forgot about my Sunday update (?
Well, I finished Life is Strange. A game that managed to make me feel a horrible person at times yet transport me out of life. I liked it. I was thinking about playing it again with all the opposite choices but I’m feeling lazy. Do you guys think it’s worth it?
An I finally found a fix for BioShock 2 Remastered for my “Press space to crash issue”. I’m really enjoying it but it doesn’t feel as good as BioShock.
That’s it for this week, hope you guys are having a good time!
Just finished Life is Strange and I don’t want to talk about it.
