Team Assassin Theme
I played this game with Nisbett for the monthly theme. My thoughts on this game are pretty basic. I love it. It’s very detailed. The gameplay is very simple but the game has a good story.
spoilers :D :D
I love how the progression of the game slowly changes your character. I love how it touches on PTSD when most war games don’t. Slowly as you progress through the story, your outfit starts to changed and degrade. Little details like that as well as the loading screen changing as you progress is a nice touch. The speech patterns you receive from your team change also. Little details like that are very cool.
Happy 2018!
Sorry It’s a late happy New Year, had a lot of work. I’m doing it now! yayyy :P
I made up a list of games played this year. I’m not on steam as much so it’s pretty small.
I’m currently playing Saints Row with my girlfriend and Dragon Age: Origins. I’m suuuper addicted to Dragon Age at the moment. My girlfriend kept harassing me to play it so I finally just gave in. It’s amazing. I can’t believe I haven’t played this :)
I’ll definetely be more active in steam this year. I hope you all have a great 2018.
I had a lot of fun with both of these games. I definitely recommend you play these games in co-op, It’s the best way to play them. When I played it by myself it wasn’t as fun as when I played it with my girlfriend. The characters in Borderlands are really interesting all around. Had a lot of fun playing the siren. Funny enough, my girlfriend played Roland, and funny enough it turns out they were dating. The gameplay in Borderlands was really really fun. I felt very overpowered. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable game. I enjoyed playing it on co-op. I definitely recommend it. I heard a lot of people like to skip the first one and play the second one. I don’t recommend that because a lot of things that happen in the first game kind of set up the second game.
Borderlands 2 gameplay was very much the same thing, and I had a lot of fun with it. It was a lot more balanced overall. Definitely play this one with a friend also. The story in Borderlands 2 was really good. I loved the characters. Jack was an amazing villain. Probably my favorite villain. I laughed the entire game. Lilith and Roland come back in the second game (along with the other vault hunters from the first game. Which was really cool to find out. Lilith’s character is pretty much a badass. Angel is a really cool character. I love her.
I played Maya in this game. She’s also a siren. You get little backstories as you go through the game, which was really neat. Her abilities are awesome, and I loved using them. My girlfriend played Zero. His personality is also hilarious. I really enjoyed playing this and I really really want a third game. But it’s not out yet :(. Funny enough, I actually played Tales of the Borderlands before playing this, so I felt a little left out because I knew what was going to happen ahead of time. I’m going to reply Tales now and then do a review on that :).
So this game was part of the challenge me and it was a good game. Definitely not as good as To The Moon. It’s a prequel to the second game coming out. It was definitely a fun hour though and it made me laugh in a few parts. I’m very much looking forward to the second game, Finding Paradise.
Just started playing Payday 2. It’s a lot of fun when you play with friends. Not so much when you play by yourself. The game could be a lot better, specifically if they took out all the micro-transactions. There is just so much potential in this type of game that isn’t being hit. I think it would be interesting if they added a game mode where some people are cops and others are robbers. Competitive gameplay would be amazing while beings cops trying to figure out where the robbers are trying to strike while the robbers come up with ways to fool the cops. As far as the game itself though, I love the fact that you can choose your heist. You have multiple different entries in which you can execute your plan. You can go guns blazing, stealth, and scope out your locations. Like I said, great ideas, just sometimes poor execution. My girlfriend and I have also been running into some bugs as well. All in all, I’ll give the game a 5/10. It’s still a lot of fun overall.
p.s my girlfriend is amazing and she taught me how to do all this (the banner and such.)
Hey. I’m new here. I decided to sort my games and this group is what I needed before my backlog grows out of control. Can’t wait to hear back from some you guys.
I’m currently playing Alien Isolation (on my girlfriends steam) and Payday 2. Also always playing Skyrim :P
