Hiatus update
So I never got around to making the announcement here that I had my twins. I did make the announcement on Steam Gifts though. They’re 4 months old now! Anyway, Things are going well but there is not much time for playing games. So I won’t be assassinating anything on my backlog for a while but I will get back to it eventually. I don’t have much time to babble on about anything else right now but I did want to make a quick note here. I miss you guys and the SG community and I can’t wait until I can get back to it on a regular basis. But right now these two little human beings need almost all of my attention and when they don’t I’m usually sleeping, lol. So I’ll be back in a few months. Take care everyone. Keep on assassinating!

Nice to hear from you, pearadise! Glad to see things are going well. I hope they’re on a schedule for the most part and sleeping well. I think ours were more-or-less sleeping through the night at this point…I hope yours are too. Ping me if you’re so inclined.
Yeah, I had been meaning to log into Steam just for a bit to send you an update. Plus I’m sure there are several game updates that need to be downloaded.
Yes, I got them synchronized. There will always be off days but they’ve been in sync for a while now so there’s one piece of my sanity back. lol.
Sleeping through the night at 4 months? Lucky you. We are not at that point yet. We only just went down to two feedings a night. Did you formula feed? Maybe it’s because mine are breastfed so they don’t stay full quite as long. But there are pretty much no wakings in between feedings now. There were often 1-3 a night for a while but they’ve turned a corner on that recently and seem to be sleeping better. They can be quite restless during the last few hours of the morning though before they wake up. Hopefully that will resolve once we can get down to 1/no feedings and hopefully that will come about once they start solid food.
I’ve recently been pondering if we need to start inching the bedtime up so we can drop the last nap. We’re currently at 4 naps but one has been resisting the last nap. Unfortunately, if he doesn’t take the nap, he’s awake until bedtime which way longer than I’d to have him awake. But the other doesn’t seem quite ready to drop the nap. So I’m a little stuck but I’ll get through it.

Depends what you consider “sleeping through the night.” We got them to sleep roughly 11p-5a by 3 1/2 months with three or four naps during the day. That would extend over the weeks and months to 11-6, even 11-7. We didn’t have full 7-7 until more like 8 months. They had some combination of breastmilk and formula from their first days, but certainly the 11pm feeding was always full formula to promote longer sleep.
Oh wow, that’s great news! Congratulations! I never saw that thread either. I just assumed we had lost you … actually that thought was a little sad, but … well this is probably the all time best reason for a hiatus … I’m happy for you!

Congratulations!!! I have a 14 months old girl myself and I can only imagine the work of having 2 babies… I hope they are well coordinated :)
