Congratulations on all of your assassinations!! ᓚᘏᗢ
You are so brave to play A Plague Tale, I saw what happened to the dog in the first game and noped out so hard I just watched a gameplay video. Shivers!!

mrstasilo

Thanks! Well, I took all my bravery and decided to take revenge for my doggy.

Congratulations! Some pretty meaty completions there, along with some ongoing service gaming. I’ve generally had trouble combining service gaming (eg. Hunt Showdown) with making progress on my single-player backlog. You are an inspiration!

mrstasilo

Thanks :)
Yeah, it’s hard to combine such different games. I found solution. For me it’s simply not to play them solo, only with friends. So when they’re offline or playing other stuff, I have time to spend on single player games :)
But I think this won’t work out if you really enjoy online games. I had such periods several times in my life. Guess now I’m just tired of services too much to choose them over single player games. Especially having some avowed masterpieces in unplayed xd

Yekhus

Interesting! Makes sense: That’s actually the same solution I accidentally found: I really enjoy playing online/service games only with friends. And since I don’t have friends who play them, I just don’t play them anymore. xD Single player games, here I come! I agree that it feels more rewarding and a better use of time, with all the masterpieces out there left for me to play.

Man, this just reminds me I have to finish Dishonored 1’s DLC. How does 2 compare to the original if you’ve played it?

mrstasilo

Well. It’s 4 years after I played Dishonored 1, so I can’t remember some stuff. For me it feels like upgraded game with same variety in game and level design energy. Guess someday I may return to 100% 1 part.
Good luck with DLC tho!

“return 4 years later and complete this stuff” month

Assuming you can successfully complete a game you left on hold for that long, I’d say that’s the best kind of month. :) What did you think of What Remains of Edith Finch?

mrstasilo

All thanks to PoP for extra motivation.
As for Edith Finch, I think it’s beautiful walking sim. I enjoyed the story and, lets say, it’s variety for such a short game.
