Mostly completed or played - February 2025
- Door kickers 2 is a fun and worthy sequel but still needs some balancing, and some missions are quite infuriating like a puzzle
- Ready or Not optimization has been fixed, it’s now a Swat 4’s worthy successor
- New Star GP was super fun, i don’t like circuit racing usually but it’s all arcade and extremely well balanced
- Almost gave up Descenders (just 1 life left at the end), it’s a good game but reminded me ClusterTruck difficulty
February theme - I turn my camera on
- These 2 were interesting but quite grindy/redundant
In progress - plan for next month
- 2 really fun and big pieces that may not be finished in a month
- Would like to add Beasts of Maravilla Island for march theme, had given up because of nausea but i think i can finish it (though not 100%)
- Also i won years ago car mechanic simulator 2024 on SG but didn’t notice there was a helicopter game in the pack, i’ll try it out now (review score is abysmal)
Have fun for next month !

Congratulations Coley, you’re a real killer with your backlog! Can’t wait to see what will be in your next report :)

Thank you ! Watching you all in “activities” gives motivation !
I’m trying to play a game won on SG years ago, it was part of a pack didn’t see it in the pack (the reviews are red) :

Congratulations! This is a real inspiration. And I’m very impressed that you power through some games with nausea. I tried gaming with my partner a couple of times, and we found out real soon that if it’s a first-person game, nausea kicks in real strong, real fast. So FP is a no-go with her :’(. So I’m glad that you still find motivation and enjoyment enough to get through some.
Hope you don’t mind the question (you don’t have to answer if you don’t want): do you have any trick or technique to 1) reduce the intensity of the nausea and/or 2) recover from it faster/better? asking in case it could help my partner.

Thank you ! About nausea, i set the motion blur at minimum, 0 if possible but sometimes it’s not enough and well, i’m just ill the full afternoon after ! :p
But some players adjust FOV to prevent that, so maybe try that ? Also take regular breaks of course.
Your partner can also avoid looking for collectibles, because it’s when you start zooming in and concentrating on looking for stuff that the nausea gets worse.
Some games like Mirror’s Edge also have a small white dot in the middle of the screen to prevent nausea, but this is rare.

Oh, that’s some very useful advice! Thank you! I didn’t know that a white dot center-screen helps with it. So would any fixed-position crosshair help? The collectibles thing also makes a lot of sense, and I never realized! It fits with some of her worst episodes of nausea, when looking for hidden stuff.

Yes a fixed crosshair or centered white dot would help ! Heard that dancers to avoid losing their balance spinning fix their sight on a point that serves as a landmark. That’s why she won’t feel nauseous playing the vast majority of FPS.
Some games have a native crosshair or dot, but i know some players add one to their screen manually. That’s sad though, to damage the screen.
Some softwares add a crosshair to any game too, but beware that an external software would get you a VAC ban or trigger the anti-cheats so don’t play multiplayer with that.

I was mainly thinking of softwares that add crosshairs, if one is not natively included. But you raise some great observations and caveats for all alternatives. I can see you have been thinking it through thoroughly! Thanks again! Very kind of you.
Congratulations on your assassinations!!! ᓚᘏᗢ
I’m sad Beasts of Maravilla Island is giving you nausea, I don’t remember it having a head-bob or something similar.
I hope you have a better March!
Thank you i’m quite sensitive to nausea but it should be ok, finished Jusant recently with nausea all the way. :D
Your completion stats are impressive, have fun too on march playing VN ! ;)
