This was my best (and worst) month yet… I would’ve played even more (steam) games if I had not decided to explore the world of emulation… Oh god, what have I done!

I’ve decided to follow a choice I’ve been seeing applied here multiple times regarding multiplayer games: I’ll mark them as beaten if they surpass the hltb time even if I’m not done with the game. I did this with Awesomenauts, CS:GO, Dungeon Defenders (which I’ve beaten before they added achievements), Killing Floor, Rocket League and Team Fortress 2.
I’ve also updated all my steam reviews to include a rating (from 0 to 10). If you want, check them out here. This is, if anyone actually reads them.
And lastly, if you are active at steam community, maybe add me? My activity is so boring right now. (I need to clean up my friends and groups too.) I have so much stuff to do ;__;
Good progress! But be careful now, once you start playing emulators you might be in for a nostalgia ride where there’s no turning back. ;) Just joking, we should always play what we enjoy the most!
I have been reading your reviews, but I admit that sometimes I’ve forgotten to check those links while I’ve been reading new posts in the activity feed. Your layout is fine though, I just need to remember to check the tags carefully when I see your post. :)

Well, I really loved Assassin’s Creed and Saints Row 2. I don’t think I can choose only one D:

What did you think of Sniper Elite? I won it a really long time ago but I actually haven’t played it yet (shame on me)
Did you think the game was a bit dated?
Oh yes, definitely dated. It felt a little repetitive and the story is a bit on the boring side (go here, go there, save this soldier, cover this other soldier, etc etc): it doesn’t really “matter”. It’s up to you if you want to play it or not but, from what I’ve read, Sniper Elite V2 is a way better game and should be the initial step to the series.
I actually only played it because I was in the mood for a sniper game and since this was a sg win, I kind of forced myself to play it. (Also because I haven’t played lots of sniper games so I had no game to compare it to).
Ah, I can do boring and repetitive, since I’m basically the same. :P
Snipers have always been my weapon of choice, so I’m sure I will enjoy it. :)
Yeah, PS2 emulation is insane these days. PCSX2 can now automatically apply widescreen patches like it’s nothing to your games, even if it does mess with some. I’m going through Yakuza 2 at the moment and visuals enhancements really pretty the game up.
Exactly what I’m loving from PCSX2. It’s just so freaking good and it feels so natural!
If it’s any consolation I won 27 games (& bought 1) and beat a single game in February ..
