Time to break the trend of Fox games(sadly)

Overall I did enjoy this… it was mostly the lack of fast travel from anywhere that made me enjoy the game less, ultimately it was only a few minutes of running at worst each time. The RPG elements definitely made up for it. I had to play on one of the easier difficulties… it was the one I was on… or getting absolutely crushed just one difficulty higher :/ (I will need to get good when I get to tackling these souls likes in my library)

I have one complaint about this game… the very brief highly political message that was inserted into game(effective men are the worst)… it was out of place with the rest of the game.

I enjoyed this game alot, I saw a recommendation to go in blind first playthrough(I usually follow a choice guide on VN's… to experience the story at its best and in the right order) and am glad I did… sure I have to do another playthrough as I missed a few achievements(might see if I can find a save file to download for the ending one…. might not, undecided). Making this review before doing 2nd playthrough and won't update it after.

A simplistic vampire survivors clone, while enjoyable it definitely doesn't have the longevity to get me to consider doing all the unlocks… let alone the achievements. Biggest issue is there is no limit to the number of passives or skills you can get… so runs can start to feel a bit to similar. Only true variable is the class/heritage you pick for baseline skill/passive ability and which pet you bring along(which carry a set of passives to… my favorite being the raccoon as it drags chests and such to me)

The story continues from the captured and exiled ending of the first game.
also Goats vs Vampires

Decided to play some more as I wasn't feeling well(just give me a pint of ice cream and I WILL have a fever now(add some cookies… and it will get near high grade fever ranges)… yay for life without a gallbladder)… at least I know now.

I have now unlocked everything possible without DLC, with 2.3M to spare... can grind like 10M gold an hour or more on endless mode with certain setups.

apparently my choice right at the end robbed me of a secret final boss, that's fine though… what puppet could refuse being turned into a human.

I did have to cheat a little vs the Door Guardian… used the infinite perfect guard grindstone against him… then swapped back to my damage ones for the rest of the game(which were unmodified)… not a fan of gimmick bosses that have essentially only one way to beat them(outside of death by 100000 cuts).

that final boss(Simon) had my adrenaline pumping… no pulse cells/life potions or w/e left, a sliver of life for both the boss and me and both us swinging our attacks… mine connected about .05 seconds before his and I won!.

This one is great, all characters voiced, actual full on lets be an anime segments, tons of art, etc…
Do recommend, some no/very low spoiler SS's uploaded.

I only did a few runs of this, the only "meta progression" appears to be class unlocks, no permanent power bonuses or anything so I started to get bored pretty quickly.
does have one of the more interesting weapon mechanics though. I might play some more eventually, but its not scratching the itch for the game I am looking for atm.

enjoyable simple and short game, practically have to follow a guide if you want to 100% though… since it uses one of the items that you will likely use in the wrong place.

cute little puzzle game, unfortunately it was far to easy… only a few levels posed much of a challenge at all.
easy 100% game for those who like to do that, 17/20 are just beating the game… the others are small little things that can be done within a couple minutes at most.

Decided I would go ahead and 100% this… got the last few achievements before the complete all achievements… when it didn't unlocked I googled it… have to max the fandom rank of every single character(talking a good 3-5 20 minute runs each to max… assuming you don't screw up and die)…. so I got a while to go for the last achievement.

still a great F2P game with no monetization on it.
