[At least one of the words in the title needs to be entirely in caps. Also, abbreviations (like DLC Quest, XCOM, …) don’t count.]

No, as with every theme, these are merely suggestions for anyone who is unsure about what to play next. If you already have a battle plan for your backlog and/or don’t like this month’s theme, you’re free to ignore it.
What happens if I don’t participate in the monthly theme?
Nothing.
What happens if I play all of my unfinished games this month?
Your backlog will be a much smaller place.

Well I was staring at the icon and noticed that the first two were in caps and then it hit me that that would fit the theme, too ^^
yeah I have a couple of games with caps for its picture but then you actually look at the title and there is none
plus damn every final fantasy game works for this theme. They really like their caps

The Horror tag on steam must be one of the most misleading. It feels like a good portion of the games I have that has that tag are not even remotely horror themed. Like Duck tales…

Great theme, I would love to participate, but with my exams at the end of month…. -_-
I wonder would Alter Ego qualify for the event? It doesn’t have horror tag, just mystery, but I think it’s a little bit horror game. From the description: Now in death, this latest spurt of crime has the entire village shaking in fear with some even fleeing. you can feel the horror. ;)
Only games with an actual horror game count, otherwise things would get too complicated. I also had to pass on Hellblade because of that. :I
